Got this for my husband for his MTG games for his birthday. He loves it. He uses it all the time. It was a bit difficult to put together, but his puzzle solving brain loved it. The material isn’t cheap, and the numbers are absolutely readable and helpful! Would recommend, it made a great gift.

Great product for what I am looking for. A tiny bit difficult to put together. Be very careful pushing the peices out. I wasn't gentle enough and splintered a couple of tiny pieces. But they were still able to be used. And pay attention when places component's to he sure they are facing the right directions.

Initially, I thought this would be a pretty cool project and have a practical use, along with looking quite nice. Boy was I wrong. The pieces were not lathed very neat, which made punching each piece out a pain. The spinners and dial do not move at all, unless its loosed up enough to fall off the board itself. This product was a brilliant idea, just executed terribly. Way too expensive for how irritating and frail it was to work with.

Es ist wirklich etwas fürs Spielerauge auf dem Kartentisch, wenn man Magic-Commander spielt und beeindruckt jeden Gegner, hat nicht jeder ;) Man sollte nur etwas Zeit zum zusammenbasteln mit einplanen, und das hat es doch in sich, dank der vielen kleinen filigranen Einzelteile, die aber optisch sehr schön anzuschauen sind und eine angenehmen Rauchgeruch abgeben. alle wichtigen Informationen und spielrelevanten Daten für einen Commander sind auf dem Controlldeck sehr gut zu überblicken, der Lebenszähler ist natürlich am beeindruckensten. Wer also keinerlei Probleme hat, das alles zusammen zu puzzeln, wird einen sehr schönen Hingucker auf seiner Spielmatte sein eigen nennen. (die Commander-Spielkarte passt wunderbar ins dafür vorgesehene Fach, nicht so wie in einer Rezension hier beschrieben) also top.

This was hands down one of the hardest things I've ever assembled. I was looking forward to the challenge of assembly and knew what I was getting into, but I didn't expect to have to push and pry so hard to get some of the pieces through the slots.I have big hands and I had a hard time getting some of the pieces together. The little U shaped pegs in particular don't seem to fit the holes all that well - you really need some kind of took to apply pressure against the flat part to force them in.BE VERY CAREFUL WITH PART C5! It is crazy easy to break the thin arm slot on that wheel piece and the life point dial will not spin right without it. I broke one of the two arms and had to repair it using super glue. Thankfully the repair seemed to have worked, but it still would turn a bit smoother if I hadn't snapped it in the first place.My advice is to always be aware where your fingers are pushing against - too much pressure on the flimsier bits and they WILL snap. This wood is quite a bit sturdier than for example balsa wood, but it will still snap under pressure.However once fully assembled, it seems VERY sturdy, and I don't expect it to break easily now that it's finished. I recommend spinning the dials around a bunch of times once you've got it together to loosen them up a bit.I would not recommend this as a gift unless you're sure the recipient would enjoy the assembly process.Overall I do feel extremely accomplished for having put it together successfully despite some frustration, and it looks absolutely amazing. I am looking forward to using it in play soon!

This was a low difficulty puzzle, the numbers tend to slide and should be glued. The size and look are great!

1. It was a little challenging to build at some points but overall doable.2. Overall sturdy once built. Does not feel like it will fall apart but with enough force anything will break.3. Fits card in sleeve no problem as seen in picture.4 Over use the number dial has gotten easier to spin. The spinner was quite snug when first put together.5. I like the small feature of keeping other players commander damage and your own at hand.Overall 5/5 for the price.

My sons review: he said it is a nice gift and pretty but not something he can travel with to his local game store where he plays.He said that the "tolerances" are very tight and make it difficult to put together. Any variance on the cutting makes it very hard to press pieces together. He cracked a piece when assembling but did say that it had extra pieces.He said it is slightly bowed "pringling" and therefor doesn't sit level on a desk.It looks good but he does worry that because the design is to pieces sandwiched together, that your card could slide under and get damaged if not careful.The mom - I like it - I will be trying to create something where he can safely travel with it but I am sure he will fight me :)

I'm not sure why some of these comments complain about a twenty-dollar product like it broke into their house, opened all the containers in their fridge and knocked over every piece of furniture just to spite them. The product is really fine, it comes with a piece of sandpaper so that you can properly fit together all the pieces without issue. While you do have to handle the assembly with care, it isn't difficult, and the instructions are very clear with pictures for reference to boot. It took me one whole hour of my life to put together. Which is to say not much. I constantly get questions about it, told that it looks cool, it fits the card perfectly fine, sleeved, unsleeved, or with a friend if you have partner commanders or want to tuck a treasure token or two. The only small issue is that it does indeed not spin both ways which means you have to be a bit careful of letting other people handle it without making sure that they know that first, but still. Overall, it's a great accessory that I am always happy to have.

This was slightly difficult to assemble, as I needed to watch a video for the 1st one. After that though the rest came together without issues. I bought a total of 4, only one had a piece that broke to me being to rough and it came with extra parts, so it was a non issue. They turn great, look good and I get compliments about them every time we play magic. I love them and will being buying more to gift to friends.
