Full disclosure: not sure if these are replacing the other curtain hooks Command has (the ones with the large hook that curve upward), but if so they're good. These have a thicker base, so they feel more solid. They have held soundproofing curtains up in my rental off the highway for the last year or so, over a year? I really recommend them, and if you follow the instructions, they do stay upright. You also need to make sure that if you have them on a wall that faces direct sunlight that they have some shade or cooling on them so the adhesive doesn't loosen. I learned that the hard way. These are awesome and if you can't drill, as I technically can't since I'm in a rental, they can save you that hassle (especially if you don't want to patch a bunch of holes when you inevitably leave because they are selling your house). I digress: follow Command's directions and these last and hold up your curtain poles. I have 3 on my larger stretch of windows... just to keep the pole from putting too much weight on the other 2 hooks. That has worked well for me so far. You may need to adjust depending on how long your pole is. Do the measuring, watch things, and if you think you need more, you need more.

I just recently moved into a new apartment and one of the major rules is no nails you can only hang things with Command strips or products and so I got these to hold up my drapes. This is the first time I really used your product for all of my wall, decor and drapes. Bees are a game changer. Never have I seen how well they hold up heavy items. They are so sturdy. I was unsure about the drapes holding up my drapes they’re heavy and no problem and easy to remove heck yesMy only problem is with the price a little on the high side

The functionality of these are poor. They couldn’t support a hollow metal curtain pole, hanging on which was a pair of thin material curtains. This is after they had been applied with pressure to the wall for the time specified on the packaging.

We really like these, we used them in our bedroom to hang blackout curtains. The stickiness has held up really well and they are easy to use and easy to install and take down. They hold a good amount of weight, we have nice curtain rods on them and 2 black out curtains stacked together on each rod and they have held up really good. The size of them is also effective so they dont look like these huge fake things on the wall.

Ah, Command Window Hooks—the dream of a damage-free curtain-hanging experience! Too bad that dream turns into a 2 AM heart attack when your curtains come crashing down like an uninvited ghost.I followed every instruction to the letter—cleaned the wall, waited 24 hours, added curtains one side at a time over 48 hours—only for the entire setup to violently betray me in the dead of night. Not only did they fail, but they took my curtain rod down with them, nearly punching a hole in the wall and making me question every life choice that led to this moment.Thinking maybe I was the problem, I bought replacement strips and gave them another shot. Spoiler alert: They flopped again. The only thing these hooks successfully hold up is my regret for ever purchasing them. The sad part? I stocked up on multiple packs for different rooms. Now I have a pile of expensive disappointment. To top it off, even when they stay up (which is only when they’re EMPTY), the rod placement is so close to the wall that my curtains look smushed and sad.If you need a hook that holds nothing but your broken dreams, these are perfect. Otherwise, grab a drill, some real hardware, and spare yourself the stress.

I wish I could give this product a zero stars rating. First of all, I read all of the reviews. I knew that it was hit or miss with this product. However, the need for this type of wall mount was greater than my own common sense, so I bought them in spite of the negative reviews. I followed the instructions to the letter...cleaned the area before I started...let it cure overnight...I did all the things. I even took some advice from others who wrote reviews about their own issues. My observations: 1. The opening is only big enough for a small curtain rod. Anything that is 1 inch or larger will not work. 2. This will not stick the wall AND hold the mount, a curtain rod, and curtains. The curtains I was hanging were sheer and weighed less than 1 pound. 3. After it fell to the floor multiple times, I ended up having to drill a hole in the plastic anchor piece and screw it to the wall. So, for the purpose intended (not having to drill a hole in the wall), this did not work.I would recommend the kind of curtain rod holders that have small nails in them and tap into the molding above the window frame, though. They do not damage the wall and will hold any style curtains and curtain rods. I bought a set of those and they were PERFECT. In fact, I have them on several windows in my house. I should have just gone with them to begin with.

I have a classroom with concrete walls. These curtain rod hooks stay in place and hold up heavy curtains. I have heat blocking curtains on them. I have taken the curtains on and off several times and nothing has fallen. I know some previous reviews said that the hooks fell off once the rods were added, but I let my hooks bind to the wall longer than the directions said. I put them up and left them there for a weekend before I added the curtains. Very happy with this product and would definitely buy it again.

For living in an apartment with windows set back, this was great to prevent damage. The curtain rods fit well. I bought 3 sets, but 1 set failed in the first few hours. After sticking it back up, it failed again 2 days later in the middle of the night. They do not come with any replacement stickers despite Command strips costing a pretty penny.

I've used these hooks throughout my house with a $30 rod from Big W and it has been so easy to hang my curtains as a result. I've only used with light materials so unsure how heavy layered block out curtains would go, but for linen and sheers, these are perfect.
