They are very strong and will easily hold cast iron skillets. I have even hung a large one with no issues or concerns.

Nice pieces that do not slip of the rod of my kitchen hood. My hanging utensils above the stove can not slip off and go boom onto the hot fire below.

A little hard to get on the closet rod but once you do it works great. We had one closet that the rods were too big. They give you the size I just didn’t think to measure all mine.

Like everyone says the throat is fairly small barely fits onto a shower curtain rod but if that is what you are using it for or smaller it works great. Strong enough to hang a plant no problem and probably heavier things.

I bought them because my hanger (plastic) broke and I have attached 6/7 shirts on it and it was the best idea so easy to attach and very steady jot to fall or break
