I am impressed. Light scratches vanish. Scratches that are a bit more established go away with appropriate effort. Deep scratches? Well, they'll improve.Worth the money if you care about your guitar. I am certain it will work with other things as well. Just follow the directions.

Worked like a charm. Was able to remove a tiny scratch in the finish. Very impressed with this product.

This particular product does what it says for a reasonable price. I trust it is safe for my higher end / delicate finish guitars because that is what Stew Mac products represent to me. But that is only part of the review. I'm a 25yr player and feel Stew Mac products are one part of a larger important ecosystem for the guitar player. Their products, helpful how-to and helpful tip videos, and customer service are all provided with a focus on the customer / player and their gear, not just how to squeeze an extra dollar from the market. Good feeling to be able to buy from an authentically honest and well intentioned company like that. Watch a few of their videos and you'll instantly see what I mean. Hope they're around for a long time. I'd recommend giving them a chance on any product that appears to meet your requirements.

I bought this product mainly for the scratch remover; I had a medium sized scratch in the clear coat that I was looking to remove from a guitar. The scratch remover definitely worked, but the directions weren't crystal clear on how long it would take - it ending up taking a couple of hours of working the scratch remover over the scratch to finally get it out. I think I used about half of the 2 oz bottle for a 1.5" scratch. The clean + shine was a finishing product to polish up the guitar.

After cleaning I used the rubbing compound to rub out faint pick markings on the finish ( no pick guard). Nothing. Second app. 3rd app no diff. Not impressed with the polish either.

My scratches were too deep for the scratch remover, but the buff & shine was nice

I have a lovely ukulele that has a high gloss shine. I wipe it regularly with a polishing cloth but noticed some light pick scratches. This polish did a pretty good job reducing the scratches. I did apply it twice before they seemed improved even though they were actually quite light. The product residue cleaned off well and my ukulele does look like it has a fresher shine. I’m satisfied!
