As others have indicated, substantial runout. My item had 2 thousandths, for the price, that's expected and I'll just machine it true. My Sherline runout is ZERO so it's not me, it's you. Checked my inexpensive collet set I bought, TIR (total indicated runout) was as bad as 5 thousandths. Although that isn't the holders fault, something to consider.If you intend to hold a tiny carbide, many have a less than 1/2 thousandths deflection tolerance before they snap. So, be aware and understand what you are buying.I personally don't understand how they produce a beautiful ground finish and the TIR isn't Zero, it's just odd to me.
