The oblong shape and and material make it unstable when filled with coffee and water. It has a tendency to collapse and make a mess. I am coming from the GSI coffee drip which was awesome. I left it in a hotel room and bought this as a replacement. I will be replacing it again with the GSI which right now runs for about twice the cost.

I bought this coffee filter for our recent RV trip in Alaska. Because you can’t turn your generator on to run your coffee pot before 8am in most campgrounds (“quiet hours”) but you can heat water on your gas stove, I bought this so I wouldn’t have to wait until 8am for my coffee. It pops out into perfect cone shape the fits easily atop your coffee mug and uses small cone filters. It worked great, was easy to clean and easy to pack in our suitcase. This would be great for tent campers, too, because it’s so compact and easy to clean.

I love how small and light this is. Love it for camping and backpacking. Obviously make sure your cup is as level as possible and pour water over slowly!

There is nothing wrong with this. I liked the material I liked the price. I liked the size compacted and expanded.Pay attention to the size and shape. I did not. I gave this away to someone who says he is happy with it.

Works great in our travel trailer and doesn't take up any room. Wish I knew what sized filter it used but I just haven't taken the time to measure or compare
