Asked whether it was usable with induction. Seller said yes. It even says it is on the box. When we received the unit it was totally non magnetic. Induction cooking requires magnetic pans as per all information and instructions that we’ve found.

I would say this is hands down the perfect kettle, It's small and lightweight but at the same time holds a huge amount of water. I really like this style of collapsible silicone cookware, it takes up almost no space compared to the kettle I used to have. On top of that its a very cute little piece that almost always gets a reaction when I bring it out. The pour is solid too, I can't tell you how many kettles I've had where when you go to pour your water it spills all over the place. This kettle gets that right too, putting the water exactly where you pour it and right into the cup. The steel bottom feels very tough and durable, like it can really take some abuse, and the handles at the top feel rugged and hard. Overall I would say this is the best kettle you can get for camping, the lightweight and space saving appeal are what sold me instantly and would argue that this is the ultimate kettle.

I didn't have much expectations with this camp kettle; but I was very impressed once I used it. It doesn't add much weight to my pack and seems fairly durable. Functionality wise, it's a dream. I love the fact that the handles fold completely down, this adds not only the ability to fold flat; but when you're boiling water the handles can be moved out of the way of the steam keeping them cool. I didn't notice any kind of rubbery taste and the spout is perfectly placed so that you can get every last drop.

First off, quality-wise, this kettle is a home run. Top quality materials and construction. Now - the question is - how useful is it?Well - the thing is, you absolutely cannot let the silicone body come into contact with flames. It should be able to tolerate a LOT of heat, but not open flame. That limits its usefulness - but the silicone body also means that it folds down to be MUCH more compact than any other I've seen.If you plan to use a campfire - this ain't the kettle for you.If you plan to use a full sized camp stove - may the odds be ever in your favor. If you plan to use one of those tiny packable isobutane stoves - this is definitely the kettle for you.I tried mine out on the stove top at home, and it works absolutely wonderfully. That it is also essentially indestructible - well, it's marketed as a "camping kettle", but there's no reason you couldn't just use it at home.

I was first introduced to collapsible campware in the service; a friend introduced me to the collapsible coffee cup and I never went without one again. When I saw this kettle, I knew that I had to have it. When it arrived, I checked it out; it seemed well-made.The instructions caution you not to allow flames to lick around the edges. This is common sense for something made of heat-resistant neoprene, but I must mention it. The rubber will melt if you burn it. Besides that, this kettle is simple to use. Extend it, and then fill it with water. Place it upon a heat source, and wait for it to boil. It does not whistle, nor should it. This means you have to pay attention to when it boils. When it boils, lift it using the handy carry handles, and pour. It does a nice job, and the split carry handles keep the lid in place. This is a very nice unit, and it earned a home in my camping gear. Recommend.

This CAMPWOLF collapsible camping kettle has a stainless steel bottom, which is a huge improvement over our other kettle with an anodized aluminum bottom. We do a lot of camping and have tried a bunch of different cookware. Something we've come to depend on is our collapsible kettle. The kettle we've been using works great, but it has an anodized aluminum bottom thats been scratched and has begun to flake. This stainless steel bottom is thicker and should last much longer than the aluminum bottom. The silicone body is thick and feels strong. The spout is great and makes getting the last drop a lot easier. We used to have to turn our other kettle completely upside down to get the last half cup of water out. The plastic lid has a snug fit and the silicone strap keeps everything together when not being used.

I like a cup of coffee when I go camping, but a standard kettle takes so much room in my kit that it can be a hassle, especially if you're trying to downsize like me. This collapses down to about the height of three pancakes. The bottom is etched with basic instructions and cautions, like not letting any flame go beyond the base and lick up the sides, where it might melt the silicone body. I do wish the spout was a little wider, otherwise it's a great addition to my camping setup.
