I bought this for the looks -- 99% of the stovetop coffee percolators out there look basic and it's not easy to find something with a little color or design sense. In that regard, this coffee pot is great. The orange is bold in a kitchen that's mostly darker colors (black electric stovetop, grey counters, etc.). However, I can't give this five stars because it definitely is not a "9-cup" coffee pot as advertised. It's actually pretty small. It will make enough for you and another person to each have a large mug of coffee and take a little bit to go. But beyond that, I wouldn't recommend it. If you had a dinner party or breakfast for 4-6 people, you'd have to give each of them a pretty small mug and then make another pot for when they ask for more (good luck doing that when the grounds are still scalding hot). If you like to brew a pot, have a cup, and keep the rest in the refrigerator to reheat the next day (or just to have iced coffee), then this may not appeal.I later looked it up on other sites (had to hunt around for quite a bit; Coletti doesn't really share this information) and found out that Coletti says that 5 oz is a standard cup of coffee. I think that most other companies say it's 6oz. And a *technical* cup (i.e. for baking) is actually 8 fluid oz. So when you read that the Bozeman makes 9 cups, that does not mean that you're getting a 72- or even 54-ounce coffee pot. You're getting something closer to 45 ounces. If you're a design person and live alone, I recommend this. It looks good. It's the standard "cowboy coffee pot" but with the twist of an aesthetically appealing color finish. However, because of its size, it's not really practical if you live in a household of more than 2 coffee drinkers or if you entertain frequently.

This was a Christmas gift for our daughter to replace a similar on that was broken. This item was less expensive than the original yet of better construction with a noticeably higher liquid capacity.

Beautiful red color and I love that military veterans manufacture it. Works like a stovetop percolator should! I'm happy with it!

It's just what I wanted to replace my old aluminum stove top percolator. I had to adjust the amount of coffee i use but other than that it brews great. Filled to the bottom hole of the spout it'll make 3 16 oz. mugs of coffee which is more than enough for me. It's built like a tank.

This is fabulous. Besides being really cute, it is very well engineered. The capacity is perfect, everything fits well, it is easy to pour. I especially like that the little glass thing on top screws in so I don't have to worry about it falling off. I also noticed it has a lifetime replacement guarantee. Plus it makes great coffee.

Smelling the aroma was nostalgic. I had to remind myself of all the old tricks I did by the campfire to get it right. After one week of brewing/tweaking, I'm good. The pot is sturdy enough, not as tough as i hoped. Unlike my old percolators, the basket assembly does not rest totally within the pot, the basket lid rests on the top rim of the pot. I'm not sure if this is problematic, there are always a few grounds and my cup strainer is always handy. This is my preferred brew method, I've tried them all. Thank you, kindly, Coletti (nice green color and stainless steel), Jeff Bezos & his huge crew for bringing the world to our homes...~.~...

I bought a pink one for my boyfriend because he loves pink, and he also loves percolator coffee. Actually we love percolator coffee. This one is better than mine because it has all stainless steel parts on the inside instead of aluminum like most percolators. He calls this one the Pink Princess because it deserves the title. Coffee brews beautifully in it. The capacity is small, but worth the wait for the second pot if you have a crowd. I didn’t realize until he told me that it was made by American veterans, which is nice.
