New A/C. Hooked it up and it didn't work. It didn't come with a freeze sensor - so the compressor wouldn't run. Installed this and it works great!

Easy to install. Terminals a little different than original but no issues. No longer have to deal with the humidity in florida causing my always running unit to freeze up anymore. Very happy and less than half the price camping world wanted

I'm mainly writing this because of the other review with a picture incorrectly testing the probe. I'm not sure what tech told them to test it that way but you'll never get a resistance reading by testing the tip of the probe, you need to test the 2 leads to each other. Probe works as expected, just giving it 4 stars because it's slightly different than the listing picture and the guage of the wire seems smaller than the original.

We have had problems with one of our air conditioners in our motorhome short cycling and indicating it had shut down the compressor because of the freeze stat. After changing the freeze stat out with one of these the problem has gone away.

I ordered this replacement sensor and unfortunately it’s faulty. So I replaced a faulty sensor with a “new” sensor that was also faulty. I was walked through how to test it by a technician and ya, it’s bad. Found this out after I’d installed it and the ac continued to freeze up. I dont know who I’m more mad at, Dometic for a 2 yr old ac freezing up or this place for a new faulty sensor.
