Had a similar one previously that was great but this one is not. It’s too tall to fit in any part of my fridge and it leaks. I’ve checked the o-ring and it’s seated correctly. Hand washed it only but no matter what it just doesn’t seal well and you need to shake the coffee before pouring because of the settling and separation that occurs. Not a fan but missed my return window so now I’m stuck with it

This thing is great. It actually locks so that it will never spill even if it’s upside down. Makes it so easy to travel with it. Love the size - it is a bit tall but I’m okay with that given the extra couple of ounces from the standard ones . Only difficult thing was getting the top off the filter to fill it up. I wish the instructions would explain how the locking mechanisms would work but this product is amazing.

My son likes a large iced coffee every day. I was buying the premade iced coffee that was flavored etc and creeping up in price. Ordered this with fingers crossed. I am now making him iced coffee with less calories and fat for a FRACTION of the price. WIN~WIN!

I tried out this cold brew coffee maker last night, and I’m already in love! It was super easy to use—came with clear instructions that walked me through the process step by step. After a quick wash, I filled it up with coffee grounds and water, and by the next morning, I had a smooth, delicious cold brew that tasted almost as good as my favorite coffee shop’s.Honestly, I think the syrup I used was the only thing keeping it from being identical to a professional brew. My only tiny complaint is that I wish it was made of glass instead of plastic, but for the price, I really can’t complain. This is a total game-changer for cold brew fans!

I'm a diabetic, and I was told (not by a healthcare professional, but other diabetics) that cold brew coffee with sugar free syrup was a great alternative to the other super sweet coffees I had to give up. I tried my first cold brew at a well-known franchise, and I really liked it! What I didn't like was the price tag. So, I decided to try to make my own. My first cold brew maker works more like a press. You just immerse the grounds and water together and the lid has a plunger that then pushes the grounds to the bottom of the carafe. I liked this set up, but sometimes the grounds would get through and the top to my unit would leak, so, when I saw this, I knew I needed it. The very first thing I did when I got this was run it through my dishwasher. The plastic feels flimsy and I wasn't too sure it would make it out okay, but it did just fine; the plastic didn't distort or anything. Because I like my coffee a bit stronger, I put 5-6 table spoons of grounds in the filter and used filtered water and fill it to the tip top. I shake it around quite a bit since the grounds like to go to the top, then pop it in my fridge to sit for a day. When it's done, I rinse the filter and use the provided brush to really clean the inside then pop it into the washer. So far, I have no complaints at all. This thing looks nice, is easy to use, easy to clean, and holds quite a bit of coffee. It obviously depends on the person, but for me, I will get 3 cups of coffee from one full pitcher. If you like cold brew, this is a great carafe! If you haven't tried cold brew, I would recommend maybe trying it first before investing. The good thing about this to me is the amount of money I save by doing it myself. You can buy all different kinds of grounds--from name brand to no name--and play around with the strength to see what you like. Personally, I prefer dark blends--typically Columbian. I use sugar free syrup (caramel and vanilla) and heavy whipping cream. For me, this satisfies my coffee cravings and does not spike my blood sugar. win win! :
