The system is well constructed. Silicone ring inside lid and also one that goes around the filter to seal the jar’s mouth.All parts are dishwasher safe, but I still choose to hand wash.It took me to tries to dial in the recipe. I used 57 grams of coarse ground beans (Oxo burr grinder) and 20 ounces of water. Placed in fridge for two days. Result was smooth and mellow but very flavorful.

Coffee on the go is a must for me. This makes cold brew so smart. I love that it has the handle as it is glass and condensation can make the glass slippery.The filter is a perfect fit and cleans easily.Super product.

Pros:• Its glass• The lid is spill and leak resistant• It’s narrow enough to fit in the fridge doorCons:• The pitcher and strainer are both a little tall for most places in the dishwasher• The pitcher is not a standard mason jar size so it would be difficult to replace

I had my first chance to use this product and it did not disappoint.Took some ground coffee, added it to the filter cylinder and slowly filled the jar through the grounds as instructed, then I let it seep for 36 hours in the frig.This morning, I was treated to a great mug of cold brew iced coffee better than the $4 to $5 cup you get at the local coffee shop or coffee chain and for a fraction of their cost.Highly recommend!Will now experiment a little with adding flavors.
