I had an old cold brew system and I am trying to get rid of as much plastic out of my house as possible and found this one. I love the filter system but I also ground my own coffee to a medium-coarse so it does not slip through the fine holes of the stainless filter. the glass carafe is thin and might break if dropped. the lid is not super secured but it does not fall off when I pour my coffee. you can not our coffee with the filter in the system. It says it in the instructions. I would also not want to flip it upside down either.Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I would say if you have immature teens or clumsy in the morning I would go with a plastic model but I love mine and have recommended it to friends and family.

I purchased this to make cold brew coffee at home. The price was acceptable, but the quality was unknown. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised, the glass pitcher is not too heavy nor too thin and the handle is sturdy and comfortable. The lid has a silicone seal that is easy to clean and the infuser is stainless and perforated with a gagillion super small diameter holes so very little grounds end up in the cold brew, it also is easy to clean. Two thumbs up!

I broke my last one and reordered the same item. It’s easy to use and clean. Makes GREAT coffee. I can only drink cold brew and it makes enough for several days for me. Only problem is the new basket doesn’t fit as nicely as the old one and the little wire handle drops down into the coffee grounds if you’re not careful.

This flash makes great cold brew. Very easy to use. Well made, but be aware that the coffee filter takes up about half a cup. Makes 3 1/2 cups. If you have the room get the larget one.

This pitcher is great for brewing hot or cold tea. It can take boiling water without the handle getting hot and the size is perfect for my mini fridge (3.1 cu ft). The mouth is very wide so it's extremely easy to wash and clean. I don't like the included filter because I think it's too narrow for tea but that's a nonissue for me as I use a superfine mesh strainer I bought from Japan.The ONE problem I have with this product is that the spout is horrible. If you fill the pitcher near the 1000ml mark, pouring will be horrendously messy.

I've had this for about 2 years now. I have only used it a few times, kept it in good condition, and haven't had any problems. The lid has a great seal. Glass is nicely designed with an easy to pour lip. Great price and great coffee!I'm revising my earlier review and upping this to 5 stars. I initially thought the metal handle on the filter cup broke off. I've since discovered there are 2 small pinholes and that it can snap back into place. Not sure how it dislodged but it's working again so I'm happy with it.

I'm surprised at how well this pot works! Just add your favorite ground coffee to the filter, pour cold, filtered water over to reach the fill line, put on the lid and place in the fridge overnight. The filter holes are so fine that it does take a minute or two to add all the water to the pot, but this is little price to pay for the ambrosia that results. I use a quarter cup of medium grind regular coffee and two quarter cups of Swiss water process decaf to 32 ounces of water in mine and the result is perfect for me. Strong, but not overwhelming, and a perfect strength for me since I only like to add one or two ice cubes to a glass. If adding more ice, I use a full cup of coffee grounds. I don't have much sediment leaking through at all...I am very pleased. No plastic parts, either, and it easily fits on the fridge door. The filter and all parts are easy to hand wash. I don't use the dishwasher on the lid or filter, but the description on Amazon does say it's dishwasher safe. Buy this cold brew maker...you'll be glad you did.
