Our specially formulated, injection molded, smooth, nitrile rubber outsole eliminates marks on fresh asphalt while protecting your feet from high temperatures throughout the work day.
HEAT RESISTANT OVER TIME:
- Heat resistance for 8 hours at 212 Degrees Fahrenheit
- Heat resistance for 30 minutes at 302 Degrees Fahrenheit
- Extreme heat protection for 1 minute at 572 Degrees Fahrenheit

Normally, these are amazing boots we order them 2-3 times a year my husband works construction asphalt and we’ve never had a problem before we’ve been ordering these for about four or five years now. This is the first time we have ever had a problem. The boots are still usable, and I can’t find any way to reach customer service since it’s through Amazon fulfillment but we will more than likely search for a new boot The next time this happens.

These boots are way too hot to wear on asphalt and they are steel toed which does not work I need to send these back

I bought these boots to test how they worked on asphalt, they are unbelievably good. I work 15 hours a day and I don't have any problems with discomfort. at first they are a little hard but after two weeks it is the best you will ever have. you can walk on the hot asphalt and it doesn't leave any trace of the boots as they are flat underneath. at the end of the day a little oil to remove if something stuck to it and the next day it's ready again. excellent product

I am a Asphalt Construction worker and I have gone through plenty of pair of boots in my time. I decided to grab a pair of these for the start of the 2023 season. They arrived in perfect condition and nothing wrong with them as far as how they look for new boots. Here is the only downfall to my purchase (through amazon); of course you can't try on boots for comfort through a website so that being said. I am a 10.5W in regular shoes and other boots but these particular boots were to big for my comfort so I had to return them for a refund (through Amazon). I needed these boots by the following Monday for work so in a pinch, I contacted the company direct and they sent out the 10W size and they got to me within the same timeframe as my order from Amazon did. IF YOU WEAR HALF SIZES AND ARE GOING TO ORDER THESE BOOTS, JUST GO WITH THE SMALLER WHOLE SIZE AND THEY WILL WORK OUT FOR YOU JUST FINE.I would have gave a 5 star rating had I not had to exchange them for a different pair. I will come back to this review in the future and update on comfort & durability as the season goes on.

My husband loves it it's comfortable and he's not complaining of how hot his foot when he's working it's amazing and I highly recommend it....from the husband....So I work on non-metal roof tops all day in all weather, so far only very hot weather. The roof tops can get steep to walk on, so slip resistant is the most important quality to look for in a shoe. These boots hold up just as good as any other shoe on a roof, which was a worry of mine. As far as heat- I wear darn tough wool socks with my boots which also helps- but my feet no longer get heat blisters. I'm no longer dancing around because my feet are burning. There are also times where I'm working on a flatbed truck throwing shingles, and the metal can also get extremely hot. No problems feet getting hot. These boots are a life saver and a must for anyone who works on a hot surface!

I purchased these for my husband who has been working in asphalt for 11 years. Usually we buy Wolverine boots for him to work in but still they don't last more than a year. These boots were true to size. He wears a 10.5 and these fit perfectly. When we first bought them, he was a bit skeptical and thought they would be hot on his feet, but they aren't! Also, they aren't heavy like a steel toe boot but still provides that protection. After a 10-12 hour day, his feet and heels start to hurt a little but I think that would be the case with any boot on a long day. He thinks getting insoles for them will help a lot. He says they are made perfect for asphalt. He likes that the bottom of the boot is smooth so no mix gets picked up. Other boots would have issues with getting mix stuck in the bottoms. He is sure these will last longer than others he's worn. Overall, these are really the best choice in boots if you work in asphalt!

I pave asphalt in south florida where we have a sandy asphalt mixture. These boots leave flat prints on the asphalt which allows me to walk on the asphalt while raking without my feet getting hot. The footprints get rolled easier than any of my coworkers boots. I have purchased my 2nd pair and all my co workers want these now. Excellent boots for the job. My only drawback is the laces they just dont seem to last me as long as the boots.

I wear an 11, but reading the reviews on how these boots run a little large I ordered a 10.5, and it fits perfect. Put them to the test and they work out GREAT! I walked out on the hot mat behind paver to loot a spot that needed fixing, everyone looked at me like "WTF are you doing?!" And then they noticed I wasn't leaving any tracks and then it was "WOW, where did you get those!"lolAfter walking on tack they do pick up some stones and blacktop a little, but once it's time to clean them off it's soooooo easy....a few swipes with the scraper and your good to go. HIGHLY RECOMENDThey look great and well built
