It does get very hot when that level of heat is selected. There are 3 levels so you can pick what is best for you. The cord in the back and controls in the front are idea. Keeps the cord out of the way. And it will shut off after a preset time so you don't have worry if you forget to turn it off. The controls show what the temperature is set and us very convenient.

I am so happy with this coffee warmer! One has the option of four different temperature settings and up to twelve different timer settings (1 through 12 hours!). It’s so nice to still have hot coffee even though it may be a while before you are able to get back to enjoy another sip! Try it with a hot cup of cocoa as well! I highly recommend it!

I love the heat plate size, as I have large coffee mugs that don't fit on my older warmer. This fits all mugs and it would probably fit a candle, however I have lamps for thatThe temperature settings are fantastic! It really keeps my coffee and tea warm/hot while I am in hour long conference calls. If I have to train or talk for an extended period of time, my coffee is warm/hot throughout but just as warm/hot when the call is complete and I can finally drink itPrice is great for the quality and the functionality of this item, HIGHLY recommend!!

Have only used for a few days and it works very good. Even heat. The timer function is easy to set up along with the heat settings.

Works great and simple to operate. What a pleasure to have hot coffee to the very end of the cup. Well insulated so bottom of warmer is not hot nd is safe. Couldn’t be more pleased.

This warmer works great, exactly as described. Adjustable temperatures are a plus and keeps my coffee hot for as long as I want it to be. It is perfect for hot sips between work emails and reading. No more cold coffee! Quality construction, a great deal. A Highly recommended purchase!

This is really a great mug warmer. No more icky microwave coffee!!! I use it to keep my coffee warm/hot! I really don’t like a cold or slightly warm cup of coffee, so this warmer is perfect! I’ve used different mugs with a slight ridge at the bottom and I’ve had no problems. It not only keeps my coffeewarm, it heats it up! Never had a problem with it heating my mug to where I can’t pick it up. I have it sitting on my wooden desk, it does not heat the wood under it or anything sitting by it. It looks good, nice and sleek, scratch resistant and easy to clean. Can’t say enough about this product!

This is one of my most useful purchases. This cup warmer only has one cord and thats for AC power . No remote , no Internet of Things , or Bluetooth connection or app. Compact , solid built unit . 4 rubber feet so it doesn't slide around , small display , on/off touch switch, time setting touch switch and temperature touch switch . Temperature settings are : off , 131 f , 145 f, 167 f , and 185 f . I set mine at 145 and it keeps my ceramic coffee mug at just the right temperature for me . The top appears to be glass and is easy cleanup with a damp cloth . I would recommend this coffee mug warmer to others.
