Straight out of the package did not work. The turning mechanism is completely frozen. Had multiple healthy strong people try and nothing. Can’t even test it on a clog.

The coil gets twisted up inside and makes it .hard to rewind. Did not work well in bathroom drains. But it worked to unplug the water tube in my water fountain

This is the coolest pipe snake ever. It is small and portable. Plenty sturdy and strong. Easy yo use. I have uncloged 4 bathtubs, 4 sinks, one shower, one kitchen sink, and it has saved a lot of headaches. So I recommend buying one and just not loaning it to anyone because they never return. If I had to pay a plumber for everything I have done so far it would have cost a fortune this tool has already paid for itself. A great value for my money absolutely.

My bathroom sink was running slow, and I knew I needed to snake the drain, so first I tried some gel Clog Remover, but this just condensed the clog to the point that the sink would not drain, nothing but standing water, full of dangerous chemicals. I didn't want to remove the J-trap just yet, so I bought the Cobra Enterprises 00710 Skinny Snake Drain Cleaner, which arrived the next day. I already have a drain snake, but it is too big to fit through my bathroom sink strainer. The Skinny Snake has 1/8" diameter, so it fit right into my sink strainer. I fed the snake down the drain a few inches at a time, locked and then slowly turned the unit, repeating until I got about 5 feet of coil out, after which the sink drained instantly. I pulled the snake out and put it away. I think now the drain is actually draining better than it ever has.

It's better than another plastic drain clog remover in that's hard so is able to push debris more easily. It's still not as effective as an electric drain snake that will twist gunk out. Also, it's harder to retract.

I'm another person from Mercury Stardust AKA the Trans Handy Ma'am on tiktok. I am not a handyperson at all. I'm usually super hesitant and worry I'll break something. This was one of the easiest fixes ever.Unscrew overflow drain -> go fishing little by little with this wonderful tool -> spin the tool around when you can't push forward -> Pull up and see what you find!I did this a few times to be safe since my tub was in dire need of help. I got something small at first, then I went back in and found the real clogger and felt the resistance. I pulled it back up and felt super accomplished. I went back in a few times just to be sure and ran my water a bit to see the wonderful normal drain rate. This took me maybe 5-15 minutes. The only annoying part was having to screw the lid back on since you had to line them up to the screw holes, but even that was mild at worst.Definitely recommend as a super affordable option to stop having to stand in pooling water while I shower!

I live in a condo and always had issues with clogs. I've usually been able to clear them with my plunger but this time, not even the heavy duty crystal drain clog dissolver would budge it. I took a chance on this thing and stuffed it down the drain as far as I could then kept twisting the base until the snake inserted to the opening of the drain. I then released another foot, tightened the screw and kept twisting, then repeated. After about 6 feet was twisted in, the water just drained out. It was miraculous to see!!! So happy I bought this snake and I didn't have to take the drain apart to use it, it just fit right through the center drain opening, which is about a centimeter wide. Brilliant!!!!

It helped me clear a blockage within the pipe without having to take it apart. Worth the money!! I'd recommend this before getting a plumber.

We bought an older home that had been not had the best plumbing maintenance. Water was draining very slow from our bathtub and there was always an odor we couldn't quite tell what it was. I used this cobra mini snake and wow the mother of all clogs came out. Loosen the stopping scew pull out a little at a time until you feel the clog, tighten the screw and use the tool as a screwdriver. This product works!!!

I don't understand the negative reviews that say, "The handle doesn't turn." It's not designed to! I had my drain cleared in less than two minutes without instructions, but if you want instructions, here they are:1. Remove plastic safety tip.2. loosen set screw on side.3. Pull out springy, snakelike thing.4. Tighten set screw.5. Insert snake thingy into drain. Loosen set screw to adjust length if necessary.6. Push, spin clockwise (the whole darn handle and everything,) bounce it up and down, Twist some more, then pull it out.I did all that and my drain was clear. YMMV.

We had a total blockage in our Kitchen Sink and have tried 2 types of chemicals to unclog it with no success. We wanted to use a drain snake but the biggest challenge is that the Sink Drain's holes are small, only about 5/16" each in diameter. This Skinny Snake Drain is the answer to the small holes. The key to success is using this snake drain correctly, operating it like a giant screw driver. Once you hit the P-Trap, extend it to only about 4 inches at a time, tighten the screw, and rotate the handle until it moves forward; then do another 4 inches, and so on. Extending it too long (like 6 inches) will cause it to kink.

Used this within minutes of arrival. Feeds right into drain of my tub without having to remove anything on the drain. It's best to feed approximately 6 inches at a time, tighten thumb screw and then turn the entire body of the housing while pushing gently into drain until you need more snake. Then continue repeating this procedure until it won't feed any further into drain. That's usually when you've reached the clog. At that point pull it all back out of drain. You may have to fight to pull the clog out through the narrow drain opening, but as you can see it works. Fixed a stubborn clog in about 15 minutes. Those saying turn it like a screwdriver are correct. 6 inches of snake and spin and push. Anything more than that at one time and it won't turn the "corners" of your plumbing because of too much slack in the snake. This thing exceeded my expectations. I figured for 10 bucks it was worth a try. Because it's a narrow snake I suspect it'll kink after a few uses but at this price, I'll buy replacements as needed if that does happen.
