After extensive research, in which I determined that Cobra’s product was the best in style, strength, ease of installation, plus at a great and fair $$ price, I ordered 3 sets of the Cobra 18” Garage Storage RacksAlso, when I realized that my panel doors were unfortunately 19”, requiring a slightly larger rack, all it took was a quick call to Cobra, which was immediately returned to me, and followed by Cobra arranging to send me 3 sets of 3/4 inch extenders to enable a sturdy installation. I would definitely recommend Cobra and their storage rack product. Great Product - Fantastic Customer Service!Dave

These are perfect to keep your rods/reels out of the corner in the garage. Also I have a garage door that is a little different than the most common. The owner of the manufacturer sent me some custom adapters he made at no cost. I am 79 years old and have never been treated this well by any customer service that I recall.

Contacted seller as the product did not fit my door. I sent pictures and measurements, and he shipped a piece that should fix the problem. It did not. After a few text messages back and forth he shipped me the correct size part, at no additional cost. Hope this work well and will most likely buy more.

This product is a must-have for anyone looking to find a way to store their lawn tools or fishing rods. It was very easy to install. Took about five minutes and it is sturdy, and secure.I purchased the 18" and just assumed I had standard sized garage panels. That may or may not be true, but either way, I got the wrong size. I called the company directly, left a message, got an immediate call back. I was sent the correct size (21") with a return label in the box.To make a short story longer, make sure you measure the width of your panels before you order. I'm sure 90% would, so I'm just talking to the remaining 10%.I recommend this product for its functionality, ease of installation, quality, and customer service.

So I saw a friend with these storage racks in his garage holding his 20+ fishing poles and I thought this would be a great purchase to get our fishing poles up off the ground where they could get damaged. I followed the ordering directions here on Amazon and since I had a 5 panel garage I selected the 18 inch Cobra racks. When my racks arrived and I tried to install them they were to long for my panels. My panels were actually just short of 17" and the racks were not going to work. I looked on Amazon for a possible solution and I came across the companies phone number in the review section of the product. I called the number and it was actually the owners cell phone (how often does that happen). Pete the owner, told me to take a couple pictures of my panels and text them to him along with the exact measurements. Pete got back to me promptly and told me he was going to work on an adapter so the 18" racks could fit my garage. 7-10 days later a package arrived from Pete and he not only sent me the new adapter he had built but new racks as well! Talk about incredible customer service! Will most definitley purchase again from Pete! Thanks again Pete!

Recently downsized to a condo with a garage. Had to leave my old overhead storage system in the last house. Saw these and scope up a couple pairs to be able to get my rods off the floor. I have the fully insulated 18” panel garage doors so the block style of mounting them wasn’t going to work. Saw a video where someone used #8 apex tip self starter screws (I used 1”) and that worked just fine. It’s a bit of an eyeball project. Organize your rods first to get the mounting distance right before you start drilling. I staggered my reel-sides just to make sure they don’t clang together when operating the door. Everything good. Easy install. Totally recommend them to anyone who can’t do a vertical stand.
