Love this little tea pot/carafe. I use larger mugs and this makes two mugs of tea which is perfect. The lid has the strainer built in and works well though it does tend fill at the spout and block easily but just turn it for a clear spot. I microwave the pot to heat the water add the tea and let it go. I love it. It is rather thin glass so seems delicate so I am being very careful with it but that also keeps it from being heavy and if not abused should last just fine.

Perfect! I love that I can put loose tea in that doesn't sit in a metal cage but floats around loosely steeping in the hot water until I pour clear tea into my cup. So cute and functional.

This study teapot is wonderful for being a one pot system for heating and steeping loose/leaf tea. It doesn’t get too hot to touch when you grab the handle which is perfect. I was bummed that it did not fully filter out all of the herbs from the loose leaf tea. The smallest ingredients did end up in my cup. They hold a great amount of water and look aesthetically pleasing!

I USE THIS EVERYDAY!! the part i love the most is that sometimes I forget to clean it right after and sometimes the tea stays in it for more than a few hours but IT DOESNT STAINso easy to clean too

Great looking tea pot and great to have a filter in the lid. Unfortunately, the lid doesn't seal properly and falls off when pouring the tea. Otherwise, sturdy, easy to clean and nice to look at.

I really like this. The handle and top is cool to touch even with hot water poured in. When pouring, no loose tea gets through the strainer, I can reuse the loose tea remaining if I want. It feels like the glass used in a science lab, so hopefully its durable. And it's easy to clean. Best loose leaf tea steeper I've used. Great value for the money.

I love my brewed tea! This teapot allows tea leaves to open fully. The filter is strong, so you won’t end up with anything but a perfectly brewed tea in your cup.Highly recommend to all tea lovers.I bought the second one as the size is only good for 2-3 cups and we drink tea a lot.The best teapot!

I saw a teapot like this one in a restaurant in Tennessee and asked if I could buy it. When they said no, I went looking online. This one is almost identical. Solid and sleek. I finally have a simple teapot for loose tea. But I also use teabags in it. (Because I'm not sure whether it can be used in a microwave—without the metal, of course—I have been heating water in a glass measuring cup and then transferring the hot water to the teapot.

loved the size (enough for two smallish cups) and the top/strainer works well even on finely ground tea leaves. perfect!

This pot is beautiful in design and makes the tea experience more enjoyable. It is the perfect size for making loose leaf for one or two people (8-16oz of water). Most glass pots are 30-40oz which is unnecessarily large for tea, so the smaller size of this one is great. I really appreciate that it's borosilicate so boiling water won't shatter it. It's also nice being able to see the tea leaves as they brew, it can really tell a lot about their quality and offers a deeper connection to each tea. There are a few downsides. The first is that the water isn't that smooth when pouring, it's 'hard' to control and is quite choppy. This is expected and not that big of a deal but a smooth pour is always a bonus. The second is that the shape makes it hard to clean with normal sized hands, they dont fit through the top well and cleaning and drying is a pain. While a simple soapless rinse is fine, it will need to be set upside down on a drying rack to dry. Finally, it should never put this on an electric stove top as the bottom is not perfectly flat. A kettle is always a must unless a flame is used, otherwise there's an actual chance of shattering. Also worth nothing that this pot does not feel very sturdy and might break if dropped. It could also be stronger than it looks, which would be ideal.Overall I am happy with this teapot, I really quite like it and will continue to use it until it breaks or the lid rusts. It is great for tea enthusiasts and if you are considering getting one then I would recommend it.TLDR;Pros: beautiful, perfect size, borosilicate, seeing the tea is nice.Cons: doesn't pour smooth, hard to reach the inside, shouldn't be used on an electric stove top, might break easy.
