This is essentially a fabric marker for sewers. It makes a crease, or line, on the fabric that can used for seam allowances, quilting guide, etc. Easy to use, works great and is a good price. Clean with a damp cloth. Highly recommend for sewers of all levels.
Perfect for the price!

I love this little tool. Cross hatch just became so simple! It works! I was really pleased, I used my ruler and this tool, the indentation was so easy to sew by. My cross hatch was even and no lines to iron erase or using the arm to go by on your foot to make sure you have the right space between the two lines. This is great!

I was so happy to discover this tool. I make bags, and before I cut the bags out, I quilt all the pieces that I will use. I generally just do diagonal cross lines on them, and I used to mark them with tailor's chalk or some other method. On some fabrics I had trouble getting all the marks out. This tool is great; it just leaves a pressure mark. I sew on that line and then I don't have to mark any more; I just stitch all the other lines one inch apart, using the first one as a guide. When I'm done, the pressure marks come right out when I steam the piece with my iron. Highly recommended!

I bought this to mark a larger quilt with straight lines. It works very well and makes a definite line that is easy to see. I just found it hard to keep the lines exactly true as my ruler would slip a bit while marking the quilt. No fault of the Hera marker just need an antislip ruler to grab the quilt top better. Will use for smaller projects. Delivery was quick and it does a great job marking without leaving a mark on quilt top.

First off, I know it’s a bit expensive for a bit of “plastic” but let me say this, it’s a resin, and is very sturdy. Not at all like cheap plastic. It’s the BEST tool in my kit of things. I use it to flatten seams so I don’t need to iron, and it marks and I use it to push out edges. So impressed with it I bought another. Absolutely amazing. If you’re thinking of getting one, don’t, just get it. You’ll love it.

I read an article about using this Tamark fabric and thought it would be a great idea to avoid chalk and erasable pencil lines. While it does leave a bit of an impression it’s not nearly as clear as other marking methods. It’s smaller than I expected but fits well in your hand. It may work better on silks and fabrics where you cannot use other methods of marking.
