This vendor used to sell counterfeit Clover Amour crochet hooks, but NOW they're real! I was hesitant to buy these hooks on Amazon because I was scared to get fake ones for $43.But I've been looking at the reviews from recent years and they're consistently good! I even compared the pics from Amazon's reviews to Clover Amour's website & they looked exactly the same, so I assumed they were real. Well, I took the leap and bought some for myself from this Amazon shop & I don't regret it. I am so happy they're selling authentic Clover Amour crochet hooks for such a good price!!! These are $89.99 at my local craft store and it's outrageous...& Yes, the packaging has the gray foam on the bottom, there's "Japan" on the back & the colors are correct for each hook size! These are just some ways to check if it's authentic.Anyway, now that i've explained why they're real. I want to explain why they're amazing!They're lightweight, but good quality. I'd say that they're better for smaller hands/average sized female hands. These reviews aren't lying, the hook slides like butter on the yarn. They're so comfortable to hold, the thumb rest is perfect. The hook itself extends all the way down to where it says "Clover" on the handle. I don't regret spending my money on these. I don't know what else to say, but the performance of these hooks speaks for themselves! I've heard people say they like Clover Amour better than Tulip Etimo hooks. But i think it just comes down to preference☺️.

This is the cheapest place to buy these hooks, and these are the best hooks to buy! They are strong, but glide through yarn like butter. I tend to have pretty tight tension but these hooks just slide right through.I used to use boyce hooks and i would literally leave imprints on my fingers with how hard i was crocheting. These hooks have decreased my pain, increased my speed.You wont regret buying these hooks if you want to seriously crochet. If youre not sure though, i still recommend them because they retain their value and you can definitely sell them for the same price! But having the variety of sizes is really nice for the different projects you can do im sure every crocheter can use these, no matter what style projects they prefer.I dont have a case for my hooks, so i keep them in the package when im not using them to keep them in good condition. The above stuffed animal i made with the 5mm hook in this set

These hooks are absolutely amazing and complete game changers! They are easy to hold and very comfortable to grip. I was hesitant to purchase them because they are on the more expensive side and really didn't think there would be a significant difference between these and other similar ergonomic hooks. But after continuing to see these hooks pop up in blog posts and recommendations in YouTube tutorials, I decided to order and give them a try. And I was not disappointed. There is a huge difference! They are so smooth and glide easily over yarn of various weights with ease. It's made a huge difference in my crocheting and has definitely improved my speed and efficiency. I love these hooks and after making the switch to Clover, I don't think I'd go back to using anything else! I did also try a Prym Ergonomic size G hook to compare and while it was good, it felt much more bulky to hold and I noticed a significant difference in the ease of glide, it wasn't nearly as smooth (picture 2 for size comparison). The Clover hooks win hands down in my opinion. So if you're wondering whether it's worth the investment in this set of hooks, it absolutely is! My only complaint and it's a very minor one, is that they didn't come with a storage case to protect them. I purchased one separately which is fine but it would be great if they had an option for the hooks with case that comes all together. They're too nice to just throw in a pencil case or other storage container. I loved this set so much I invested in the larger Clover hooks as well and they're equally as great!

I can't use crochet hooks with the standard thin metal handles any more due to rheumatoid arthritis. These hooks are great and easy to use. They are easy to grip and hold onto, and yarn slides on & off very smoothly. My only complaint is that the size is not easily visible; there is no color differentiation and they are written too small. Other than that, I do recommend them.

I have crocheted a lot over many years and always felt that I never quite reached my stride when it came to my work. I blamed myself when a gorgeous silky yarn would shred itself over my hook, or when I wrestled with my hook while working a #3 cotton yarn. Cue the Clover hook and I finally understand what all the fuss is about. These hooks are amazing and have transformed my crocheting, the evenness of my stitches, and my ability to handle multi-strand impossible yarn (that was destined for the bin). The soft rubber feels comfortable between my fingers and the perfect hooks slide through the most unruly yarn like butter. I know they aren’t cheap but I thought a hook was a hook too, until I was spoiled and enlightened by these hooks. If you want to up your crochet game, you won’t know what you’re missing till you’ve tried a Clover hook.
