Used it to hang up my ties. I have over a hundred ties that I counted once I moved everything to this holder. I used to hang it up on the hangar rod, but it took up a ton of space.I screwed this in and saved a ton of space.MOST IMPORTANTLY: It has these rubber bits on the ends of the tips that stop the ties from sliding down and falling off. It works great, and very important.

Affordable, functional, and easy to install. Took me less than 10 minutes to install. My boyfriend isn’t the most organized. Before he was using a clothes hanger to organize his neckties. It wasn’t practical or easy to access. We live in a small apartment and although we do have a walk-in closet it’s still cramped with space. What I love about this product is how compact it is. And now I finally found a way to utilize the space behind our closet door, and still have space between the door to allow it to open fully. I love how you can easily see what ties he has now. A++

I m all about practical. I saw a cap rack earlier, wanted to get it for my husband as he often time can not find the right hat he wants to wear that day. then the day before Valentine's. I somehow saw tie rack online, so was searching for tie rack but after I saw this item, I was like it can hang ties and hats too, so I bought it. it arrived the next day which is perfect for Valentine's gift. we happened to have a worker in the house so I asked him to screw it or me to be ready for my husband to use as otherwise, it might take him forever. most men just procrastinate.he likes it after seeing it, as was able to put few hats and ties on it already.it will take him awhile till he transfer all his hats and ties from the closet to the hanging rack but I think there should be enough room whenever he does.just saw it and I was happy I got it, as if I need to, I can hang my few necklace there to.(as I don't have many so should be enough space for all that.

I really like this item. ClosetMaid seems to always take great care in the manufacturing of their products.I now have five of them (I'm addicted to buying ties). In fact, the quality of this product is so good that I trust hanging ties costing over $100 on it without worry of getting them snagged. Sure, it's very "basic" in appearance, and only comes in the white color, but for the price you can't beat it. If you're looking for a well-made, pragmatic product on which to hang your ties, hats, belts, scarfs, etc., you may not go wrong selecting this product. Granted, the space openings between each hanger point is rather narrow, but that's because it's intended use is more for ties than thicker clothing accessories, etc.I gave this four stars instead of five stars because I VERY RARELY give 5-stars. To me, a 5-star represents 20% more overall value than a 4-star, and therefore this product is about 80% "liked", only because it's appearance isn't that exciting (but again, one has to consider the price and what they're paying for--it's just that there's a lot of junkier items out there that will cost you more and risk your ties snagging).

Great tie rack, and one of the very few on the market to stack ties sideways -- alas, only available from the US, but the shipping was really fast to the UK, much faster than from, say, China!The rubber grips keep the ties from slipping, and the density means I can fit around 40 ties with room for a couple more. Even with sideways stacking, it is still fairly easy to select the tie you need and take it out without disturbing the others -- my old rack had simple metal rails and if you pulled a tie out, another five would fall on the floor.Simple to fit and looks great in my Masonic cupboard.

I purchased something similar to this and returned it because it did not have the black rubber tips. I was thrilled to find a Closetmaid version because closetmaid has never let me down. This arrived with mounting hardware as well as rubber tips on the end of each hook which I think are perfect for preventing scratches and snags from clothing and keeping my hands injury free. I took less than 5 minutes to mount and a few minutes for me to turn this rack into by8 new tank top hanger. It's super sturdy and holds all my thin strapped tank tops and frees up more than 2 dozen hangers. I love it!!!

Bought one of these and then came back for a second because they are awesome for holding necklaces and rings. The rack is very sturdy, metal with some rubber coating. The hooks curve up enough to hold items in place, but are easy to get things off of. Can be hung with dry wall screws, but you could probably get away with just screws alone or even nails, depending on how light-weight the things you're going to hang on it are. There is plenty of room to use a drill (some items have screw holes that are near parts that don't allow for use of a drill, but these are constructed in a way that makes drill use easy). The hooks are long enough to hold multiple necklaces if desired. They are far enough apart to hang necklaces with large beading/heavy chains. You can use the top row for rings and the bottom for necklaces, or just put necklaces on top and bottom, since they are spaced off-set and won't interfere with each other. For ties, the rubber holds the ties in place but it's not so sticky that you can't pull them off. Highly recommend for multiple accessory organizing uses.
