I've been looking for a replacement movement for a while. This was an exact fit to fit an old clock that the movement had broken. It was extremely easy to install and afterwards kept perfect time. Could not happier with this replacement is just as good as the new one if not better. A great product for sure you won't be disappointed.

My mother gave me a very nice clock but was broke. Took it to a clock repair but was too expensive to repair. I found this clock works and my husband fixed it. The clock looks fantastic good as new. My mother has passed but I have this clock to remember her.

There was a difference in sizing. Those boxes have cheapened and they are making them thinnerthan they used to be. My husband is handy and was able to use it but beware. Measure your oldone and make sure you buy the same size

The movement in my, really for display purposes only, brass ship compass housing died recently and needed a replacement. This little kit fit the bill.You get a basic movement that supports an hr/min/sec configuration and runs on a single AA battery. A nicely detailed set of instructions. A complete set of parts including 3 sets of hr/min hands and a single second hand and all the hardware, nuts, washers, shims, and a cap to provide a finished look if you decide not to use the second hand.In my case the minute hands were just a bit longer than I could accommodate, but the hands are easy to shorten using a pair of scissors.Getting the battery into the movement requires some effort, but it will not fall out. The same applied to mounting the minute hand. I had to ream it out a bit to get it to fit on the shaft.As to how accurate it is, time will tell. After one day it is spot on so far.

Very simple battery powered (one AA) clock motor with three different hand options.I purchased a skeleton clock for my wife many moons ago when she was collecting such things and it has worked pretty well from the day of purchase. Unfortunately over time for whatever reason the clock motor stopped working. As I had no idea what to do about that, it just sat in a cupboard for some time. I finally had a bit of inspiration this year and hunted down this unit on Amazon.It was delivered fairly quickly so I didn't have to wait long to try and fix her clock. The shaft length is about the most important part when buying these items, so make sure whatever you order matches what you are replacing. If not, you are likely to have problems. Surprisingly, they are not all a uniform length.Anyway, took the old one out, replaced it with this and I let my wife select which hands she wanted - which ended up being the curly ones in the middle of the promo image. With a little bit of fiddling they seat perfectly on the spindle and run round the clock face without hitting any of the furniture around the clock face. It's not wholly accurate and loses about a minute a day, so needs to be adjusted for correct time, but as it's mostly a show piece I don't mind so much.This is extremely easy to fit, the hands clip onto a stepped plastic shaft, and they only fit one way so you can't get it wrong. Most importantly though, it works straight out of the box. Took me about 10 minutes to remove the old motor, and about 15 minutes to put this one in; part of that time was spent making sure the shaft didn't wedge onto the sides of the hole in the clock face. Can't fault this really, simplicity itself. Job done, happy wife, who could ask for more.
