I love this! When looking for a specific kind of bicycle helmet. Yes I know I had alot of boxes I that needed to be checked off. *I wanted one that was safe but didn’t look like an alien head *I wanted to protect my noggin, without feeling, insecure or self conscious wearing one. *I wanted to find something that didn’t look like a “bicycle helmet”… I ordered other safety bicycle helmets either they sat too high on my head or weren’t giving me the secure feeling… only to return them. **After purchasing a D.O.T. Half shell helmet, polo style. I was happy with the helmet but still wasn’t satisfied with the look @ least I knew the helmet was safe.*THEN I FOUND THIS “ADD ON HELMET ACCESSORY” WOW! WHAT A TRANSFORMATION! Now I can go peddle away AND still be cool!

It looks great, block the sun and the fabric hold the abuse quite well. The only complains I have are the lack of strap to help it stays on the hard hat. The neoprene elastic band slip and can't stays on. Manufacturers need to add something to help it grips more or hold it in place.So what I did is sewing two nylons straps to make it secured.

This works well on hardhat helmets, the ones that are like climbing helmets. Those hats don’t seem to have a sun brim so this slides right into the slots and stays put. Has held up well so far. It is tight when you first put it on but once it’s on it doesn’t move and the brim even after a few washes has stayed stiff. So easy to use. I flat dry but have been machine washing. Great value will be buying more. They need more color options!

This brim is too small to fit my bike helmet. It would be helpful if the dimension of the opening had been included in the description.

We wanted to add this sun helmet over our bike helmets but it didn’t fit. No elastic to slide over the shape of our helmets. Plus it was floppy and looked ridiculous. Oh well.
