I loved the vintage look of this radio and felt the price was good. Purchased in May…it’s now a crisp, cool fall morning on Sept 23 so I wanted to turn it on and let it play in the background while I cleaned and the dial lit up for a second or two when I turned it on then faded out and it’s deader than a mackerel. I have it plugged into an outlet so I switched outlets and no dice. Soooooo disappointed!! No! I did not purchase a warranty because I never USUALLY end up having to need them and I’d already paid good money for the product so I thought “surely this is a good product for the money”….MY BAD!!!

Love this radio! The wood has a very nice gloss finish, the buttons are metal, not cheap plastic and they move and feel secure when you turn them. The light is very authentic for an old time radio. Sound quality is fair, not great, but not poor. For me this is kinda an added feature as my old time radio shows sound pretty authentic. If you are looking for high quality sound, this may not be for you, however if you LOVE old time, this radio is sure to fit your needs.

This is an exquisite vintage style radio! The antique bronze knobs and trim are gorgeous! The radio has a full, rich sound quality and you can even adjust the tone. The warm orange glow on the dial is beautiful and soothing and also makes a great night light! Wonderful addition to my kitchen countertop! I think the price is reasonable too for such a beautifully crafted item. The detail as well as the shape is what caught my eye when shopping for vintage style radios. I'm so glad I got this one!

I received this radio today and I am absolutely in love with everything about it. The classic elegance of its design, the ease of operation, and the less than great sound quality. Thats right, the sound quality is not great when compared to other far less expensive tabletop radios. This is a virtue. This radio has one reason to exist and that reason is to take advantage of the bluetooth feature to stream classic radio shows from either Youtube or Sirius Radio Classics. For that purpose the sound quality is absolutely wonderful. We are not looking for hi fidelity here, we are looking to reproduce the classic radio experience and you get that wonderfully.Dont get me wrong, the AM and FM features work perfectly well but there is something extraordinarily magical about sitting by this radio listening to Jack Benny or Gunsmoke or Suspense or you name it. This radio adds something tangible to the experience of listening to such programming. You know, they say that Coke tastes best ice cold out of a bottle. That is actually true. Old time radio is best coming out of replica radio like this. There is no doubt about it.

The vintage radio looks perfect in our 100 home. It came delivered in perfect condition. It is simple to use and set up. We use it mostly as a Bluetooth speaker, but the radio is clear on FM (we don’t use AM). The sound quality is not perfect but this is not a Bose. We play older music so to us, it sounds as it should when we first heard our songs played. Overall, it’s a great little radio and fits perfectly in our space.

I loved it so much I bought two. Perfect for listening to podcasts; it helps make it feel like an activity rather than just streaming it from your phone. I liked this one the best because it didn't have any modern lights on it, like a blue or red "on light" or anything. It is really lovely. Someone had written a review about how it isn't wood-it is. And also that the sound comes out the sides not the front--it comes out the front and the sides, both. This is not for blasting music, it is for podcasts, news, or casually listening to the radio in a room, not throughout the house, etc.
