It's great, it fits most of the clothes (mine and my husbands). It really helps keep the dirt off in the closet but I think the biggest issue is my laziness... I just can't get myself to put them in the covers and I find them laying in our closet.

After finding dust on my jackets and blazers I wanted to get covers. There were several to choose from and I am very happy with these. The size is good and the are easy to open and use. They help my closet look organized and I am happy they will preserve my clothes. They are a great value for how many you get.

These vinyl shoulder cover protectors work well for what I intended them to do...keep the dust off my shirt collars and shoulders. I wear a man's M size shirt and was able to fit up to 3 cotton long-sleeve dress shirts into each protector. With thicker wool-type winter wear, I only put 2 into each cover. With my short-sleeved summer cotton shirts I again was able to get up to 3 shirts in each protector. Of course, I did this with all nice thin stainless steel hangars, you're not going to be able to do this with considerably thicker plastic type hangars, fitting the much thicker crook of the hangar into the tight opening poses problems. So far these protectors are holding up well but you do need to be a bit patient and cautious when inserting the hangar crook into the opening...a bit to rough and I could see where these or any plastic product might not hold up well. I especially like the clear see-through cover which allows one to easily see the shirt you're looking for. I had opaque covers several years ago and these are much better. I left 4 stars for durability as it is way too soon to tell how these will hold up after a year or so. So far, I'm satisfied.

These are quite nice, particularly the longer length although one might want to carefully fold sleeves in place as they are somewhat narrow. My women's sleeves are a bit cramped and men’s more so. Quality is better than I expected. I have subtracted 1 star for I believe excessive price for number of bags, I am happy with the quality.Taping material is I don’t know what having both paper and plastic qualities that looks to be flimsy, but is actually quite sturdy and sewn on surprisingly well considering how brain dead it must get to do. I did not examine every cover and was quite satisfied after 1 from each package that they weren’t going to fall apart without some effort to dismantle. The plastic is transparent, sturdy and rather stiff. The hanger holes, not slits, are reinforced and reasonably manageable yet allow little opportunity for detritus to settle down inside. Placing over 1 twisting hook is easy, corralling 3 through the hole can be frustrating. Also the shape and hole diameter positions it at the wire/rod junction keeping it from resting on a collar (I avoid ironing like the plague.)I have some short neck wooden hangers that the cover rides a bit high narrowing the rod clearance but is tolerable. I have something like a dozen types of hanger (hey, the right hanger for the job. Even have a few wire in the utility room, never know when, “My kingdom for a wire hanger” might pop up) and the short neck wooden are the only ones with any hint of the problem. The curved bulky men’s wooden suits with slacks bar are a bit tight for depth. Here at Tropical UV, I do not want plastic pressed against valuable clothing. Some plastics get gummy after a while so not using them for the cashmere and silk suits on these hangers, or fur (50 year old furs got their own special bag. LOL )Hangar width more than the number of items dictates how many garments will fit and I choose to limit crowding to the rod not the cover. I comfortably fit 2 heavy padded hangers and 3 wire/plastic under and it seems to make no difference if sleeveless shells or collared shirts. In Hawaii I have little heavy clothing out of storage but 2 heavy men's moleskin shirts on wire/plastic hangers fit fine. For thick jackets or puffy sleeves I would get covers with more depth. I do not hang bulky swearers and knitted garments go by the hangers.I am short and my rod is a bit high so struggle and invariably fail, to remove 1 garment at a time and have to remove the lot. I found grouping same hanger’s makes grasping all three much easier. The cover length makes it trickier to get a hanger out of the hole on or off the rod. With that and the plastic stiffness I’m finding it easier in the long run to just remove the cover to access a garment and is rather annoying when I cannot decide what to wear. But is acceptable for me since I desire more protection over easier access. (The old ones have slits, are short, flap all over the place and I can fish something out off the rod.) Nearly all of my better quality and most beloved garments are under these long and sleek new covers.None of this may be applicable to many if not most LOL. I just mention as I did considerable research on these #%&^ things before investing and hoping some details may assist others in making selections. (Amazing what you can learn about a product reading reviews, I often get the, gee, never thought about that advantage or disadvantage light bulb overhead.)My air conditioning is dependent on trade breeze and closet is one of 2 relatively enclosed rooms, but you would have to see what gunk flies in to believe how much will end up on collars and shoulders (just one of the price for paradise things we pay.) I have nearly all my clothing under one cover or another (and amazingly the first sets purchased 30 some years ago from Lillian Vernon are still alive and happily flapping along.) Aloha
