We bought the 36-roll lot and have used two so far. We went back to the one we've used for years, until it was gone. Wish I could leave negative stars. This 2-mil tape is WORSE THAN NOTHING! It's so thin, it doesn't work in the Scotch tape gun. It shreds while you're trying to tape something together. If you use scissors to cut it, it splits and splinters into little pieces that stick to everything but the package. You will have to clean your hands and work area constantly with a scraper to get the little stuck bits off. We use this for small boxes weighing about four ounces and lightweight bubble envelopes. We have to use a double layer to get it secure enough. Definitely no good for box use -- doesn't stick to the cardboard! It just sticks to itself and then tears! Also, if you have a problem with chemical smells, don't use this inside your house! We've used this tape on Amazon for years and recommend buying it: "Blue Summit Supplies 12 Pack Heavy Duty Packaging Tape, Clear Packing Tape Designed for Moving Boxes, Shipping, Office, Commercial Grade 2.7mil Thick, 60 Yard Length, 720 Total Yards". Printing industry. We use packing tape all day long. Nice quality, thickness and adhesion. Good quality packing tape. We recently tried several different brands looking for something better and landed on this. Very happy with it.

The adhesive quality is about half as good as Uhaul packing Tape! So it's good for shipping but it's not good for packing boxes for Storage. ...it's got a good Stretch Factor though.(unlike Scotch packing tape made in China) And that's important for adhesion too. So Ive given this Three Star as it's far better than Scotch brand Packing Tape...which is the most popular brand.
