I wanted to try nylon strings and that is why I got this set. While I play both electric and acoustic guitar, I never played nylon strings. For that reason, I cannot comment on the quality of these strings. I have nothing to compare them to. I can confirm that they are nylon and that they were relatively easy to install. Several accessories are included. Given that the price is already low for the three sets of nylon strings, one cannot expect much from the accessories. Still, they are not completely useless. While I would not rely on them, they are each good as a backup. I have one good tuner and wanted another one as a backup. I got one from Amazon and it was completely useless. This one is OK. The same for the capo. This one is very small and rather stiff, but it works. String winder is a cheap piece of plastic, but again as the rest it works. Overall, I am happy with this set and will have use for pretty much everything that is included.

I was pretty impressed by what they managed to put into this package. There's a small tuner, a cleaning cloth, a capo, and a little tool that helps you install the string, and three full sets of strings for a acoustic guitar.Let's start with the strings. They're okay. I certainly wouldn't put them on the same level of quality as, say, Ernie Ball strings made in California or D'Addario strings made in New York (both which you can find at a pretty reasonable price on Amazon). Those tend to be made from high quality material like phosphor bronze, which give those a consistent rich tone. According to the package of this, they are "silver-plated copper wound", which I find gives them a little more of an inconsistent quality in terms of sound quality and resonance.Another minor gripe I have about the strings is that they're wrapped in plastic and simply marked "1st", "2nd", "3rd", etc. I contrast that to those companies I mentioned before that come in corrosion-resistant packaging and label their strings very clearly. That said, if you just need a quick, cheap replacement for a string you broke on a practice guitar, these will suit you nicely. The tuner was a nice little add-on. It uses a common CR2032 battery (one is included) and you can clip it on to your guitar as you tune it. As you tune each string one by one you'll see an electronic "needle" showing if your note is sharp, flat, or in tune. I don't get the sense that this thing will last a very long time, but it's handy and neat. The Capo is another nice little add-on; one of those things I always seem to be losing. It also isn't the most advanced one of these you'll find, and the spring is so tight I may be wary of using it on an expensive instrument. But in a pinch it gets the job done.Rounding off the "stuff" you get, there's a tool that triples as a string cutter, a tool to help you wind, and a pin puller (if your instrument requires it). I didn't really need any of those, but it's nice to have if I ever do. You also get a little plastic clip for a music book and a cleaning cloth. Again, nice additions but not really necessary. To be honest, for the same money I'd probably rather just get three sets of Ernie Ball or D'Addario strings (which you can find for as low as around $6-7 for a full set) and live without the extra stuff. But that said, I wasn't disappointed with these. They're a good set of entry-level tools and decent, if not premium, strings which could be useful for a beginner.

I wound up needing to restring my guitar when a string broke. I found these and they also came with some accessories. The accessories are a nice touch, but it was the strings I needed and they did the job. I strung the guitar and then I tuned it up and they worked like they are supposed to. The clip works fine and the tuner seems to work as well. Price is good and the products will do the job.

First of all, the strings, especially the metal wound strings were too thin to produce a good volume or rich tone. The tuner worked well for me, the capo does not reach across the fret board on a classical guitar and cover all 6 strings. The string winder was okay, I don't want to use it on my special tuning keys because the winder seemed to not be deep enough to securely hold the key. Not a great set for a good classical guitar.

If you are contemplating buying this, you are probably a beginner who is facing your first string replacement. Make sure you are using a CLASSICAL GUITAR aka a NYLON STRING GUITAR. Your strings will probably be tied in a knot down at the bottom through holes in the bridge. If they have colorful little ball ends, do not buy this kit. If your highest-pitch strings (like the e and b and g strings) are metal, do not buy this kit.Otherwise, I would say this kit is a good purchase for a beginner. The tuner is low-cost but does the trick. The polishing cloth is...fine. The string winder/cutter/pin-puller is similar to other such multi-tools and will be fine for what you need, though I've definitely used better winders (which is what you'll use it for the most). The strings are acceptable quality for a beginner or a practice guitar. I didn't notice any irregularities and didn't have any problems with them so far. A discerning ear might complain, but a discerning ear isn't going to be buying string sets for ~$5 USD to go perform "Recuerdas de Alhambra" for the King of Spain.
