Great kit with easy to follow instructions. I followed the instructions - though only diluted the juice to 5 gallons (rather than 6) resulting in a higher ABV, a lot of residual sweetness - sweet without being cloying - resulted in a complex, easy drinking red that is good by itself, or with italian food and grilled meats. Comparable to kits at twice the cost - I also enjoy their pinot noir - I'll definitely purchase again and would recommend to friends and family.

I've tried a few different kits, but this one's half decent so I'm buying a second box. Just be patient! Bottle it up and forget about it for a few months.

I've never had this issue in prior purchases. My last order was missing everything except the juice bag. I didn't open the box right away so it's probably too late to do anything about it. Open your product to verify all pieces are present:/

Shipping box had no visible damage. Evidence of liquid leakage on outside of kit box and wet materials inside box. One of the liquid ingredients burst in shipment and ruined several other ingredients making them unusable. The liquid also damaged the paper instructions, making those unreadable. Fortunately, we have a local wine supply store where we can procure the damaged ingredients. We are keeping the delivery and will make it work, as we are experienced home wine makers, just disappointed about the damage.

I've made this kit 3 times now and think it is a well rounded and smooth wine. It's also the only wine kit I've tried that is very much drinkable on the day it gets bottled though it does get better with aging. I think it is a fantastic bargain and it is so easy to make.

I've made a lot of different wine kits from a variety of high-end, low-end, and in-between-end companies over the past 5 or 6 years. This has become the go-to kit. When I share a bottle with friends they rave about the blend. It's not super complex tasting, but is more interesting than just about all the other kit wines I've made in the same price range. Because I use a FastFerment for making kit wines, I do the oaking differently than what's suggested in the instructions and keeping the oak in longer seems to work well. The instructions are clear and super easy to follow and I've made several batches of this blend that have come out consistently well. Highly recommended!
