Warm Tips:

- VGA cable are sold separately. Recommend use the VGA cable which is 3+6.

- This VGA splitters can only duplicate images from a computer to two monitors.

- Need to set the same screen resolution, can’t support the different resolution on different screen.

- It doesn't support extended desktop display applications, is not for viewing different images on each of monitors.

- Only output port 1 support DDC2, which means that the other output ports take their cues from the port 1. If you plug a DDC compatible monitor into the port 1, all other monitors must be able to support the highest resolution of the monitor connected to port 1 (you can set up all the output monitor's resolution as the same).

For low resolutions it looks fine, but at moderate to high resolutions I'm seeing chunky looking text. I suspect this device might do some analog-to-digital conversion before splitting the image, which is then converted back to analog, because these pixel artifacts are consistent with analog pixel grid alignment issues you typically see when plugging VGA to a fixed-pixel LCD or similar device, which hasn't been adjusted properly. This problem is exasperated the higher the resolution gets, and 1600x1200 is downright ugly.

Bought this to hook up my Sega Dreamcast to my 720p Samsung TV. The straight Dreamcast —> VGA connection was too weak for my TV, so using this to amplify the signal got the job done. Picture looks pretty good now.Note: It comes with a female gender changer, and the input and outputs are all female ports. You may need a male gender changer adapter, or male-male VGA cord like I did.

I had to stop using it soon after getting it to work for my set up. The noise was not constant but happened often enough to drive me slowly insane.

Power cord has 'Normal' Type-A USB connector on one end and a coax connector on the other (NOT a flimsy micro-USB). Everything works perfectly. Tried 300MHZ version and resolution was from the 80's. Very Happy with this unit!!!

Works well to spit a display to send one to a monitor the other to a broadcast set up.
