Decent splitter, if you have fios TV may run into with small number of channels not working due to SNR.

Work as intended. Bought these to replace old splitters that would not allow moca adaptors to be used

Using 2 of these to re-use unused coax going from the basement to the upstairs bedroom.Configuration was a breeze, and the connection to this node appears to be indistinguishable from my other node using cat5e directly.I hesitated for a long time, but I wish I had converted my old coax sooner because wiring my mesh nodes removed a ton of latency from the system and resolved the last few issues in my smart home!Just make sure you have all of the proper splitters & filters so you get the full speed & benefits. Highly recommend these!

This set of coax cable splitter box is good and solid. We purchased a digital antenna on the side of the house ($59.95+tax) from Amazon last year and we pick up excellent signal to 84 local channels. When we added internet, the number of channels went up to 138 (not counting Disney+ Bundle channels, HULU, MAX,and Netflix). Amazing!!

I picked this "Cable Matters 2-Pack Bi-Directional splitter" due to the "all port power pass through" as described in the description. I need to use the splitter as a combiner to also feed power to two antenna amplifiers. It has been determined that diodes are used to pass the power from both output ports to the single input port..Problem is, that the diodes are passing power in the wrong direction to combine and supply power to the two amplifiers. I have determined that power will be passed from the output ports to the single input port instead of passing power from input to the two outputs. If anyone is needing the same power flow through the device then this device will not work.

I had a problem: I set up MoCA for our TiVo a few years back, and all worked fine. But then I wanted to add a MoCA router (Actiontec WCB3000N) -- with this magic device, you just plug coax into one end, plug it into an outlet, and you have wifi. But it wasn't working (I could connect with wifi, but got 'no Internet').So I did what I should have done years ago: I replaced our 2 old splitters (5-1000MHz) with these (5-2450MHz). That allows more bandwidth to go through, giving MoCA the full range it can use. I also changed a 3-way splitter to 2-way (removing the connection to a basement TV we no longer use), which also helped. Between those two changes, everything seems to be working perfectly now.One FYI for those using MoCA: you'll often see people saying you "MUST" use a POE filter. It is a good thing to have if you use a standard cable company -- but unnecessary if you use Verion FIOS (the signal can't "leak" out of house since they use fibre optics). If you have standard cable, though, it's a good idea to install it (without it, hackers could access your home network more easily), best placed right before the first splitter.
