Came in bag with no instructions. Plug on cable does not fit the Chromecast HD. Had an adapter from something else and plugged it in does not work all this did was power up the item when plugged into the USB ports. Item says it works with Chromecast HD, and even had most buy these together on page, no it doesn't . Waste of money!

Had an old phone I wanted to use for octoprint. Needs to charge and run the printer. This device worked just as advertised and plugs into my keyboard/mouse! I need to try Ethernet but my old phone is on wifi so I can have my 3D printer away from the network switch now! This is a great device and I would have rated it higher if it would have came with a power block or a standard usb end. I don’t like having the special cable for power.

Here's what I like about this hub:* USB-2 - that's old school these days, but that's what the Pi Zero supports and the Pi Zero doesn't play well with some USB-3 hubs.* Solves the Pi Zero "reboot when any USB device is plugged in" at least when the hub is powered.* Provides sufficient power on the USB A ports to power a Pi Zero without undervoltage warnings. In other words, I can use one wall wort to power the hub and the Pi Zero.* Provides Ethernet for a Pi Zero w/out the need for an additional Ethernet dongle. It runs at 100baseT (full duplex) which is good enough for a Pi.I tested this with a 1A wall wort, USB keyboard, WiFi dongle and Ethernet cable connected which occupied all ports. (The WiFi dongle is not supported but draws enough power to take down a Pi Zero if connected via an OTG cable.)Here's what could be better* The provided USB power cable uses a barrel connector. The Raspberry Pi wall worts I have all provide power via a micro-USB connector. I'd prefer a micro-USB power input on the hub.Update: I still occasionally encounter reboots (of a Raspberry Pi Zero) when inserting Ethernet adapters. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the Raspberry Pi OS or a power issue. I'm not going to take off any stars for this because that's not a part of my normal operation. I still like this hub and feel it warrants 5 stars.

It is my 4th or 5th one I have bought.. only complaint is it is kind of flimsy. The cord pulled out on one of them. The power supply Cable on one. Of them seems to not provide enough current. The stick random reboots.. If I could find this in a gigabit USB 3 form I would prefer that..

I use this to provide Ethernet connection to a Dynalink android TV box. It works well as expected. If you connect this hub to a device like Dynalink which has only one USB port, you may need to prepare another power adapter to provide power through the hub.I use a 5V2V USB charger, and be NOTED, 5V2V (10W) might be the maximum power the hub can take, exceed the limit may damage it.

The product works, but the power supply cord they sent is crap and fire stick will continue to crash if anything is attached to the stick. Replaced the power supply and it works fine added additional 3.0 7 port system and a little four port so I have seventeen ports 200gb of micro SD storage. Universal card read usb2.0. I'm quite sure that I could use my hard-drive dock to add and additional 2tb yes 2tb of storage, and a seagate1tb external drive. I love the Ethernet port added mouse keyboard two Xbox 360 controllers because you can get games in app store and still could add so much more. I know I went overboard with storage but you really can't have enough turned my furestick into high speed multifunctional media beasts with the right apps and time you literally can make it fit for any type of setup.
