I have been wanting some sort of variation of this because I'm about tired of crawling under the tree and attempting to get the watering jug to tip far enough over to empty the contents into the tree stand.I'll say this does work well but a couple things to consider. 1) you still need to crawl under the tree to check the level of the water to see how much you need and how far you gotten. 2) I found if I put this too far up and try to have the water simply run down the trunk of the tree, it ends up splashing out and making a bit of a mess. So I finally landing on just positioning it so it's sitting directly into the tree stand and it works well that way.It goes together without an issue and I experienced no leaks- the green part is metal which is nice seeing as how everything is always plastic now. It's not a complete game changer but it definitely helps!

Such a great addition to Christmas. No more lying on the floor to water the tree. It’s adjustable to how high in the tree you want it and blends right in.

We like a real tree for the holidays, but crawling under the tree to water it is a pain. This works well to assist with watering. It's not a fancy device, but it works!

This item is of good quality. The pole itself is heavy duty but light. The funnel is nothing special. Just a cheap funnel that you stick in the end of the pole. Works fine though.

I should have noticed it, but it's just 3 tubes that screw together and a walmart type funnel that you stick into the tubes. I thought the funnel would be part of the other assembly. Also, the bottom of the tubes isn't tapered like the all plastic ones you get in the big box stores. But, it will work...
