For me, this is a really great steamer. Heats quickly, puts out alot of steam. It is also a plus that it can be a constant or controlled steam. It would be a definite plus is there were another foot to 18" on the length of the cord.It is easy enough to fill when using the accompanying fill cup. You just need to take your time on the pour in.The mitt that comes with it is certainly not protective; as the steam blows right through it...ouch~But, lol, as I ordered the steamer for the steamer, the mitt really doesn't matter But, I really dislike putting more needless waste into the earth.I use distilled H2O to prevent mineral deposits.I ordered a really nice and not overly exaggerated sized mitt for a good price, here on Amazon. A good mitt really makes a difference on how certain materials release wrinkles, and in allowing one to hit those more detailed areas. Not to forget making the using of the ironing aspect for spot pressing, a more effective experience, as opposed to breaking out an ironing board. All in all, a good - and reasonably priced purchase that I am very pleased with.I hope that it lasts a good long while.

Me gustó que está de tamaño práctico. No me gustó que las instrucciones de uso no están suficientemente claras en el instructivo, especialmente la operación de los botones del aparato. No me gustó que sólo desarruga telas muy delgadas, telas gruesas absolutamente nada.

I started on my journey to use of a clothes steamer when my friend gushed about hers. Now she is much more anal about wearing perfectly ironed (I mean you can tell that she spends hours Ironing/Steaming her clothes). She gave me an old one to try, but she had forgotten that it had lost the ability to heat. So I went and purchased one and it didn't do anything. I think I got a wrinkle out just breathing on it in frusration.Well, I returned that one and bought another ~ this one more expensive. Well I repeated this insanity two more times ~ once with Amazon, and they were all too much work for the benefit. As I was preparing to return the first one that I bought through Amazon, this one caught my eye. It fell right in the middle as far as pricing goes, and had a sleek look to it. I gave it a try, and I am glad that I did. I especially like how it feels in my hand ~ although it is a bit heavier than the others I tried. It is super easy to get started, warms up very quickly, doesn't drip as two others had. The only negative I will comment on is the mitt. It's a nice "bonus" but I don't find it necessary. If you are on the fence, just give it a try. It's free to r3eturn it and you have 30 days to return it if you so choose. But I bet you will enjoy the same ease it provides to make clothes look like you care how you look. Something that I am still working on. LOL

This is the first steamer that I have ever owned, so I don't have anything with which to compare it's effectiveness. However, I have inadvertently found several other uses other than steaming my clothes. These uses include giving myself a steaming facial; steaming the clothes I am actually wearing, although I don't recommend it; and steaming out old age wrinkles in one's hands. It really does work on clothes too! Wasn't sure how to operate the settings at first because the type in the manual is so small, I had to go find my magnifying glass to read them and even then it didn't explain what all the symbols on it mean. There is this nice handy glove that is included, and I have tried it on each hand trying to discern which hand it is supposed to be worn on. If you are wearing it in the hand with the steamer, the hand holding the clothing item gets steamed. If you wear it on the "helping" hand, the hand holding the steamer can get steamed from the blowback of the steam against the clothing. Could be me, but I think two gloves would be helpful especially if you switch hands during mid-steam. I am an ambidextrous steamer. I don't really think this is a good size for travel because if you take a carryon size bag, it will take up one half of one side of the bag. There is no way to smoosh it or pack an extra pair of socks or underwear inside of it. I still haven't figured out what the brush is for - maybe it doubles has a hairdryer. There really wasn't much mention of the brush in the manual either. They are probably still trying to figure it out too. Overall, it does what it says - steams your clothes and it is lightweight, so I guess I am happy.

I’ve only used this once but it took awhile to figure out how to best use it. I only wanted to steam a cotton top. Followed the directions but as soon as I started the steaming process it began spitting water all over my shirt. I had the shirt on a hanger in the bathroom. There was quite a bit of water. So now I had to dry that and still steam the back. It was finally done but took longer than expected. I didn’t have any filtered water so I used distilled water. Then after I completed the shirt, I turned it over to open the water reservoir to dump out the water and a small spring and metal ball fell out. Never found the spring but it was in our bathroom so it should turn up eventually. However, the tiny ball took off rolling into the bedroom. I could hear it, but never found it.Not sure how important they are.I will try it one more time on another top that needs the hem done. I’m hoping it works. Because it’s easier than taking out my steam iron and using it: although it is an excellent steam iron.If things improve, I will update this review.

Sent a refurbished item or faulty item not in original packaging or instructions. Worked once or twice and now not heating up just pouring out water. Disappointed, cheaply made, given the price of it.

I am a reseller so I am always steaming clothing. I have a large professional steamer that I use but I get tired of all the work it takes to use it & the maintenance. I thought I would try out a hand held one to see if it was easier and if it would do the job. Both of which it does very well. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to steam an article of clothing. It works fast and you don't have to wait for it to heat up. The only thing I would suggest to users is to use distilled water if you are steaming many items as over time, tap water can clog your machine and potentially transfer some of that chalky mineral buildup onto the delicate clothing you're steaming.
