I’ve always wanted a clothes steamer but hesitated, thinking it would be a waste of money—probably ineffective and too time-consuming. I couldn’t have been more wrong! This steamer works amazingly well, producing a generous amount of steam that easily removes wrinkles quickly and efficiently. If I had known how well it works, I would have bought it a long time ago. I’m truly happy with my purchase, and the clear, easy-to-follow instructions are a bonus!

Great steamer, with a generous water reservoir. Great locking on/off switch, this has saved me so much time. I used to use the wrinkle out steam option in my dryer for my husband's work shirts, but they always took some time and would still come out damp. This steamer gets the wrinkles out quickly and efficiently. Very glad I made the purchase! It is made well, heavy enough to last but not too heavy to use! Great value for the money, heats fast!

It is a powerful for keeping clothes wrinkle-free. It heats up quickly. The tank provides a decent amount of steaming time before a refill and it makes it great for travel. It is efficient and user-friendly steamer that delivers professional results at home or on the go.

Enchufe americano. El vendedor no tiene la cortesía de entender que en Europa usamos enchufo tipo schuko (comprado a través de Amazon.es)

I absolutely love this handheld clothes steamer! The 1800W power makes it super effective, heating up in just 30 seconds. It’s perfect for busy mornings when I need to quickly freshen up my clothes. The 360° anti-leak design is a game-changer—I can use it vertically or horizontally without worrying about spills. The large 380 ml water tank lasts for 25 minutes, so I can easily steam multiple garments in one go. The 9.8-foot cord is so convenient, giving me the freedom to move around. I’ve used it on everything from cotton shirts to delicate chiffon dresses, and it works like a charm every time.I also appreciate the thoughtful extras like the attachable lint brush and refill cup, which make the whole experience even better. Whether I’m at home or traveling, this steamer is my go-to. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for an easy and efficient way to keep their clothes wrinkle-free!

So far this steamer is great on getting the wrinkles out of my uniforms. It’s a little heavy but steady when you sit it down. It’s also very easy to get started and operate. Good value….so far

Love this steamer!!! NO MORE IRONING AND BACK BREAKING IRON BOARD!! I can use it on a table or on a hanger, it puts out a lot of steam, easy to use just one quick button and you can slide the button up to stay on or just push it for spot steaming. It’s light weight, durable, excellent for the price, yes it gets hot but it won’t burn you like an iron would or your clothes. The water dispenser is easy to fill and has a very good seal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I bought this "Steamer for Clothes, 1800W Fast Heat-up Clothes Steamer Handheld Garment Steamer" to replace a similar but much older steamer whose power cord had suffered a depolymerization of its insulation, rendering it useless.THIS steamer seems to be of good build quality and design. The manufacturer information given in the included user's manual gives the maker as Ganibay and the model number as HY-128A, and provides contact information for user questions and warranty service. The user's manual is a pleasant surprise, being a 34 page folded and stapled booklet, written in clear English and full of useful illustrations and tips for best use. This steamer includes the 'steamer head' itself, a measuring cup for the water, a 'fabric brush' that can snap onto the 'steamer head' or be used separately in a hand-held manner, and the user's manual. The power cord is specified in the product listing as being 9' long, but on mine it is one inch shy of 10' long (the user's manual says the cord is 9.8' long). My only complaint about it is that it uses a fairly thick and not all that flexible cable; I preferred my older one's very floppy cord....but then, that one depolymerized while THIS one's cord looks to be of the same type of materials as the power cords found on computers and such; unlikely to break down over time. The 'steamer head' is a similar shape as a hand drill or pistol, and has a comfortable grip, although it is just hard plastic and not 'grippy'. The front end has the metal nozzle plate ('steam panel') where the steam comes out. Where the user's index finger goes is a squeezable trigger to turn on the pump motor inside; this is like the trigger of a drill or gun, and it also incorporates a sliding bit that allows the user to lock it in the ON (depressed) position for extended use. A round button at the back, operable by the user's thumb, can be clicked to cycle through the three possible settings, LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH. The button lights up Green to indicate LOW, Blue to indicate MEDIUM, and Red to indicate HIGH. The same lighted button flashes for about 30 seconds after plugging the steamer's power cord into an outlet, indicating that the heating element is not yet hot enough to make steam. Yes, it appears that the steamer's heater turns on simply by plugging the power cord into an outlet, as opposed to turning on only when pressing the trigger; this feature means that you get steam right away when you press the trigger.Squeezing the trigger causes a motorized pump (I think it might be a vibrating pump, rather than a rotating type) to propel water through the steamer's internal heated element, causing steam to blow out the nozzle with some energy, so it shoots out at least a couple feet away. There might also be a small motorized fan inside to help propel the steam outwards, I am not sure about this. The three settings, controlled by the thumb operated button, seem to result in how fast the water pump works, so the user can affect how much steam comes out.The steamer, operating by internal motor(s), is not affected by its orientation; the user can aim it pointing downwards (for clothing laying flat on an ironing board, etc), or for pointing forward (for clothes hanging vertically). The base of the 'steamer head' has a detachable water reservoir, positioned much like the rechargeable battery on a cordless drill. It detaches with a bayonet/twist fitting, and has O-rings to prevent water leaks. The reservoir has a clear plastic top, so the user can visualize how much water is in it, and a silicone rubber plug to allow filling and draining. A small plastic measuring cup is used to fill the reservoir without spilling (much). The optional brush snaps onto the rim of the steamer's nozzle, and can thus be used to brush fabric laying flat; the brush is shaped like an oval with an open center, allowing the steam to shoot through it. Pressing a small tab releases the brush, and the user can choose to use it 'handheld' for brushing fabric that is not currently being steamed. The steamer runs only on 120VAC, approximately 60Hz. Neither the product itself nor the user's manual makes any mention of operation on 50Hz power. It requires 1800W of power. The reservoir holds about 380ml (12.8oz). The heating time is specified as being 30 seconds, and usage time as being 25 minutes. The steamer is designed to work with 'tap water', although distilled water is recommended if your tap water has a lot of minerals. The user's manual describes how to 'descale' the steamer if it gets mineral buildup, etc. After using the steamer, the user first unplugs it, then waits for at least 10 minutes for cool-down, then optionally drains remaining water from the reservoir.Note that the steamer has some clear plastic film protecting parts of the handle, and some colored plastic film covering the face of the metal nozzle. These films need to be peeled off before use. The user's manual mentions this, but only on page 24, so easily missed by users who don't read manuals.
