I had about 3-4 quarts of used diesel motor oil spill in my driveway. I applied the Chomp after soaking up as much as possible with absorbent materials. The remaining oil/stain in my driveway was about 3 ft x 12 ft and black. I applied a gallon of Chomp over the stain per directions and let it set for 3-4 hours. After this time I pressure washed my driveway and am pleased with the results. All of the oil and stains have been eliminated and there is little to no indication there was ever an oil spill or stains in my driveway. Excellent product.

I bought this product after a delivery driver let transmission and motor oil stains in my new driveway. saw this product on Amazon and decided to give it a try. It's a thick product and my concrete driveway was fairly cold and it actually snowed after I applied the product. After the snow stopped I cleared my driveway and the oil stains were gone. The stains had been on the driveway for about a week to ten days before I applied CHOMP and now there is not a trace of the stains. Great product.

I'm a landlord and have been doing house maintenance for many years. I've used a lot of products to take oil stains off driveways, and this is the best that I've used thus far. It's not cheap, but it's easy to use, and it works. Just wipe up as much oil as you can with a paper towel, pour it on the stain, let it dry, and brush off. It even works on older, dried on stains, although not quite as well. 5 stars.

I bought a gallon of this stuff based on how many good reviews it had. I don't think I could have been more wrong. I tried it twice over the same spots. Used the whole gallon and nothing. This was a huge waste of money. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

This is a great product. I had a few small spills of motor oil on my concrete driveway. I poured this product over the spills (~1/16" - 1/8" depth), let it dry for 24 hours, and scrubbed off the chalk dust with a steel brush. It removed the oil stains completely. I tried using this product on tire stains on my driveway, but I didn't get the same results. The tire stains looked exactly the same after the product dried for 24 hours. I tried it on other stains, but nothing happened. Therefore, it seems like it only works on motor oil or any fluid that seeps deep into the concrete. If the stain is only on the surface (e.g. tire marks), it won't work.

I was at wit's end trying to get rid of a large oil spot on my untreated concrete driveway. It was underneath a non-running car that had been sitting for 2-1/2 years. It was the only eye sore that remained after pressure washing my driveway. I pressure washed the spot without detergent, pressure washed using Krud Cutter detergent for concrete driveways from Lowe's, tried Dawn dishwashing soap, tried scrubbing it with baking soda & 25% vinegar, as well as a few other methods from YouTube and online articles, all to no avail. I mean the spot did not change, lighten or improve in the slightest! And, after reading the reviews for a plethora of products, I was very pessimistic about finding a solution because it seemed the majority of people felt they had wasted their money. I chose "CHOMP's Pull It Out Concrete Cleaner" because it seemed to have the best rating and because a number of reviews specifically mentioned it worked on oil stains, both new & old, on untreated concrete. I knew I would need more than the 32 oz. size so I bought the gallon and ended up using about 2/3 (85 oz.) of the gallon. My pessimism turned to optimisim when it removed the oil from two small test spots I tried, per the product's instructions. The small spots dried to a white powder in a couple of hours but it took 14-15 hrs. for the full coverage application to dry. I was ecstatic by the level of success, as evidenced by my photos! Yes, It's pricey, but it works like a CHOMP! ... I mean champ! In my case, money absolutely well spent! EDIT: The pics appear out of order. Two show the stain (incl. the two small test spots), one shows the stain covered with white powder (after dried) and two show the end result.

Worked okay on the sample area difficult to apply and it needs to be heavy. Spread out the second round and it didn’t work. Ended up doing acid wash…$10 gallon

Had an oil sensor blow out on truck, trailed BIG mess of oil from street all the way up concrete driveway as I was pulling in, then poured an even bigger mess under the engine block before I realized something was wrong and shut off the engine to inspect. After having the truck towed to my mechanic for replacement of the blown sensor, I first tried scrubbing the mess with Dawn/regular water. That broke down/cleaned up the surface stuff, but did nothing for the stains below the surface, which showed up plain as day when the water dried. Similar result with "Goof Off," which says it works with concrete, but is really only for cleaning glue, paint and other stuff off hard, non-porous surfaces. Found this stuff online, and got a 1-gallon container of it, just based on the product description and reviews. Waited for a sunny break in our Fall weather, shook it up well, then went out and applied about 2/3 of the container to the entirety of the spill area, using my fingers to spread it out as evenly as I could over the stained surfaces. Then you just wait for the stuff to completely dry to a powder ... that's probably the hardest part; you have to be patient, because it can take up to 24 hours, depending on temperature, weather, shade, etc. I put the stuff down early morning, and waited until the following morning when I could see there were no remaining damp spots anywhere in the treated area. I used a stiff, hand-held scrub brush to break up and clear all the powder, and lo/behold: NO visible oil remaining anywhere on the areas I applied the product to. I'm completely sold on this stuff ... never seen anything work this well on oil in a porous surface like concrete. There are just a few little spots here and there that I didn't treat, I'll go back and get those next. My oil sensor blowout nightmare is now finally over, and I can look my neighbors in the eye again ... FIVE STARS.
