I rated it a 3 because it’s really cute, a nice size, but it doesn’t seem to move around the pool like the basic chlorine tab floating holders. I’m really not sure if the chlorine is being distributed evenly. Not sure if that’s a thing, but I just kinda stays in one place. The basic one I had moved around the pool. I do love it in the pool though

We have two of these, one for chlorine tablets, and the summer, especially when we travel. And another one that we keep in year-round with water softener tablets for the pool. (when it’s hot, we have to add water, and our city water is very hard.)We’ve had it for a couple of months now, and find it very effective and very easy to use. It has capacity for three of the 3 inch tablets. As shown in the picture, it floats just fine with three new tablets in.I checked it every so often to see that it has no water in the top/flotation cavity, and and I’ve seen no water there. The drain plug on the bottom appears to provide a very effective watertight seal (although I do treat it with silicon lube before closing it just to make sure)

It’s very cute. It’s sturdy with strong hard plastic base. The fish is a hard rubber type material. It will likely last a few seasons in the extreme Phoenix heat. I put 3 large chlorine tablets in it.
