This floating chlorine holder did not function at the time of initial use. I put it in the water and water infiltrated the float portion as well as the electric component for the solar panel. After one use, it wouldn’t float right and the light feature was ruined.

Perfect! Keep our blow up pool in the summer clean so we don't waste to much water! It need very little chlorine for our size pool.

Nous l'avons utilisé tout l'été dans la piscine. Tout allait bien. On ouvre pour remplir le contenant, switch ne fonctionne plus, canard tjrs au soleil 😔

After many years of floating around in the pool, our first ducky wore out. Got the new one, and setting it up for pool duty, and put out chlorine, and glow during the night using it's solar panel. Great product!

Extremely Disappointing: A 1-Star Review for the Olar Light-Up Derby Duck Mid-Size Chlorinator Pool Chlorine DispenserMy experience with the Olar Light-Up Derby Duck Mid-Size Chlorinator Pool Chlorine Dispenser has been nothing short of disappointing. After just a month of use, I have encountered multiple issues that render this product virtually unusable.Firstly, the color of the dispenser has started fading rapidly. What was once a vibrant and attractive appearance has now turned dull and lackluster. This deterioration in the aesthetics not only diminishes the overall appeal but also raises questions about the product's quality and durability.Moreover, the dispenser has ceased shut, making it impossible to adjust.. This defect significantly hampers its functionality as a chlorine dispenser. Without the ability to regulate and control the release of chlorine, the dispenser becomes ineffective and unreliable for maintaining the desired pool water chemistry.Considering the relatively short lifespan and the significant malfunctions I have encountered, I cannot recommend the Olar Light-Up Derby Duck Mid-Size Chlorinator Pool Chlorine Dispenser. It fails to meet even the most basic expectations of a pool accessory, let alone provide a satisfactory user experience.In conclusion, this product's fading color and the seized adjustment mechanism make it an incredibly disappointing investment. I would advise seeking alternative options that offer better durability, functionality, and value for money.

As most have said, it's cute. Mine lasted 2-1/2 years, but alas the bottom is cracking and now time for a replacement. The light is still working and remains lit all night long. Not the brightest, but it gives a whimsical charm to an otherwise mundane device. Also, I never experienced any leakage. I wrote this review as I'm buying a replacement one. That should be testimony enough. My only wish is that threads were easier to get started but it's not a big challenge.
