I know this makes another item to wash after cooking, but it makes it so much easier and faster to shred items instead of using a couple forks or a knife. The non slip mat it comes with helps a lot to hold the base in place, and the cleaning brush is great for cleaning around all the plastic tines.

3 stars is a shame because I was super stoked to up my burrito game with this shredder. I make a stock in advance and freeze them. And boy did it do what it was made to do. Very good with minimal sliding.However last week while eating my delectable treat, savory turned sour as I bit down and nearly broke my tooth on a piece of plastic. It was small and I couldn't fathom where it came from.Then just yesterday I pulled another out to eat and it happened again. This time a larger piece and that's when I recognized it. Surely not?!When I arrived at my abode I pulled it out and confirmed my fears. Some teeth from the shredder have broken off into my chicken.Well I can see 3 broken teeth and I've only found 2. So I may have swallowed one... or....one is still out there. The fear and anticipation will reside in me until I finish all burritos. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

My fifteen-year-old daughter was helping me make dinner the other day. I cooked chicken breast in the Instapot and wanted to shred it so we got out this new tool. It was so easy and so impressive. In less than a minute, she had shredded the chicken. It breaks it down into small shreds with really minimal effort. The tool was easy to assemble and so easy to clean afterward. We were both very impressed.

This comes with everything you see in the Amazon picture. It's a great tool for the kitchen. It's actually the second shredder we've ordered because we love ours and decided to gift one. Shredders work so great, whether you're using it on chicken, turkey, crabmeat, etc. The price is great too. This one is great quality.

So I got one a while ago but a different brand, and I hated it. I used it a total of twice. The first time i realized i hated cleaning it, the second time one of the handles broke.This one however! This one is great, I'm so glad I decided to try again! This has a tray that comes up over the spikes for easier cleaning! That was my first annoyance with the last one. Getting it clean at the base of the spike....each spike.....was highly annoying. This one is definiety improved. I love the brush that comes with it, i use it on other dishes because its just a good strudy brush. It is dishwasher safe but i use the brush on it first so that its rinsed well before going into he dishwasher. This also isnt made out of cheap material which is why its useful for shredding pork, even beef if cooked properly. The non slip mat also helps with that (like greatly) when finding a shredded this is 100% the one to get! others are cheaply made or dont have that extra spike tray OR a non slip mat thats actually helpful. get this you wont regret it

I have used all the methods of shredding chicken over the years, fork, hand mixer, stand mixer, etc. I saw these trending on tik-tok and decided why not. I am in love with how easy this was to use! I shredded the hot chicken in mere seconds and was able to dump it right back into the soup without burning myself. The kit when opened up was super easy to put together. The black tray insert is a little difficult as it only goes in one way, but if you just keep twisting it around it'll fall into place on the right one. The handles spin and are securely in place. I loved the nonstick slip pad it came with so the whole thing didn't move all around while shredding. I would truly recommend that anyone tired of shredding chicken tediously get this! It will make a great gift for all your loved ones too! Gimmicky is may seem but man I am hooked!!
