It’s very handy for shredding chicken. It seems like there are tons of recipes that we do around here that require shredded chicken and this makes it so quick and easy. I suspect it would probably work on other things, but I have not tried it so far.

I never thought this was something I needed but after using it I wondered how I got along without it! Great job of shredding pork, chicken and beef! Great product and recommend highly to others. Great quality!

This works well for shredding cooked chicken for Fajitas and similar dinners.

It works pretty well except the center of the breat stays whole and you have to move the piece after the first shedded to do it all.

Came nicely packaged. Easy to set up and use. Stayed put on my countertop while in use. Shredded the chicken well with just a few rotations. Much easier than those other forking methods.Was easy to clean as well but watch out, it's spherical but quite pointy in parts. 😉

I purchased the removable bottom tray option which I'm glad I got. It makes getting the food off the spikes so easy! I wanted to see if the clear top would stain so I shredded chunks of roasted pork that I slow cooked in red sauce. This sauce has stained softer plastic. The included scrub brush easily took everything off the spiked bottom and no red coloring stayed behind.I misunderstood the photos with the yellow indicators and thought the yellow spikes are part of the product. The bottom is all black. But aligning the spikes the the cutouts in the tray isn't too troublesome. I may mark them with a gray sharpie and see if that helps.PROS:Easy to assemble and use right out of the boxInstructions are printed on the inside of the box so no extra paper wasted on a manualEasier on your hands than using forks or shred clawsEasy to clean. Included brush is really helpful and can be used for other thingsPlastic seems sturdy but time will tellAfter hand washing no food smells or coloring stayed behindCONS (but in this case Not Deal Breakers):- Instructions are very simple. Anyone who relies on detailed guides, especially on cleaning may feel cheated- As other reviews have mentioned, I found it does slip a little when turning especially if your counter is a little damp or the short rubber along the bottom edge gets wet. I didn't have an slippage until I got the counter wet. Even after drying it, the unit began to slip a little. Putting a bit more pressure over the top while you turn it helps keep it in place.- Included small set of tongs inserted in the handle of the brush are pretty narrow and not very useful- Food does tend to wander to the outer edge so you have to stop to rearrange pieces that don't shredOVERALL:I rate my gadgets on how easy they are to clean. That's where I like to save my time. This was very easy to not only clean but also use. A win-win. Since it is a separate thing to store and requires a brush to properly clean, it may seem a bit cumbersome. But this shredding circle is much easier on your hands and you no longer have to scrape a bowl or pan in an awkward position. A good-to-have gadget if you regularly make shredded chicken for meals/salads, shredded pork or have dexterity/pain issues with your hands.
