Loving my two large Ragamuffins, I was pretty sure they would appreciate the length, height and open design of this box. It is a clear winner for us!If placed out in the open, it might be less acceptable, but I slid it under the vanity in the master bath because they often sleep in the bedroom. It makes it easy for them to access and also keeps it out of the way. It is very easy on a tile floor to slide out to clean. The little plastic litter catcher to place at the end is a slightly useful since they do not as easily jump out from the open top because of where the box is placed. It does catch some scatter, but is very cheaply made and would slide away and come apart too easily, so not a game changer. To combat that, I added a more substantial flatter plastic tray after it to keep it in place. This litter box is phenomenally easy to clean and is their favorite design of all four in the house. I don’t know that I would use it so happily if it weren’t placed under something, though. The sides are tall enough to contain litter from my large cats and the length is really more practical for their size. Wish it were available in a dark color as well. All in all, I think it was a great value for the money.

this is sooo much easier to clean than a plastic box. My cat is a diva and she likes a lot of litter in the boxes, because of this plastic boxes will bend easily. This holds so much more and I noticed a reduction in smell. I’d definitely get one of these for your own cats. I will note the “step stool” is a bit unnecessary? It doesn’t collect any less or more litter fallout. The scoop is alright, I still prefer a metal scoop to it. Really love how it included a hook for the scooper though!

I was looking to replace my plastic covered litter box with something more durable. Pro: the fix and depth are perfect for my space and for 2 cats, my one large cat at 17 pounds has no issues with space. The depth of the box helps to keep litter and waste contained. The stainless steel is great to keeping the smell down and helps with any scratching noises you may normally hear with plastic litter boxes. Cleaning is very easy and the stainless steel seems to prevent the urine clumps from tracking on Cat paws. Con: while more expensive than traditional plastic cat litter boxes, the stainless steel will last longer and is far more hygienic without the cat scratches keeping the urine litter smell to minimum. I don't find the footboard to be super effective but it works for catching some of the litter that does end up on the cats paws

I was worried about some of the negative reviews. No issues whatsoever - this is clearly a high quality product. Very large and sturdy SS bin. The top fits snugly, no leakage. No squeaking of the stepper. All good. The color is a bit into peach rather than beige, but that's ok with me. In terms of smell or stickiness, I don't see any difference from the plastic tray we used before.

This thing is huge and my girly loves it. I fill it up with 2 boxes of 25lb litter and it lasts for 1.5-2 months. I had heard the hype about stainless steel litter boxes but never believed how amazing they were until I got one. I think it’s a necessity for every cat owner. It’s amazingly easy to clean over plastic litter boxes, there’s zero smell, no sticking, it doesn’t get misshaped, I can’t rave about it enough. Yes, it’s a little expensive but 1000% worth it and in the end you save money and waste from having to constantly replace plastic litter boxes. Get it with a gorilla grip mat and litter genie and you’re set!

I am now a fan of the stainless steel litter boxes. I doubt I’ll ever go back to the plastic ones. It is so easy to scoop out and nothing sticks. My cat is using it and seems to prefer it over the plastic one. ( I kept her older box as well just incase…but she is using this new one more!) The lid doesn’t really latch like it’s supposed to, but it stays put so it’s not a big deal. Overall, I thought it was a good purchase and it is definitely a litter box of choice.

These are honestly great. I now have two of them, and my cats use them with no issues thankfully. One of my cats is a sandbox digger and flings litter absolutely everywhere; she even drags from one box to another to try to cover stuff and makes piles and piles of litter outside the box. These really help block her from doing that. They also track a bit less litter from them too, when you pair them with decent litter mats. Plus, the stainless steel is way easier to scoop from because nothing really sticks to it if you keep it properly full with litter, and it doesn’t cling to the urine and feces smells like plastic does. Will probably order two more soon so all my litter boxes are this kind.

This is XLARGE! Bigger than I expected for the price which is amazing!! My cats the size of a 7 month main coon for reference and wow this is not only wide, long but the depth is also deep with the attachment and without. Awesome!!

I run a cat rescue, and I have cats in and out of my house all the time. In addition, I have four resident cats of my own! I had two different plastic litter boxes going simultaneously. Every week to 10 days I would be emptying these litter boxes, bleaching them, drying them, and then refilling them with fresh litter. I Never wanted a house that smelled like cats, or for anyone to realize how many cats actually go through my house. It was becoming a lot of work! I had heard lots of great things about stainless steel litter boxes, the ease of cleaning, the fact that they don’t trap odors, and I love these giant sizes that they seem to come in. However, I just didn’t want to spend the money! Finally, one day I decided I was so sick of Beaching plastic boxes; I was going to spend the money and just buy one. I have never looked back!I actually only have one litter box in my house now, it’s massive, it’s easy to clean, I can pour a 40 pound box of litter into one box, and it lasts me for weeks. There’s no odor. It’s easy to clean, my animals like it, it’s large enough to accommodate even my largest cats, sometimes two of them are using it at the same time! if you’re on the fence, just buy it. You won’t regret it.
