Basically a shot glass with measurements marked on it, plastic. Amazon also carries a glass version of this product. Teaspoon, tablespoon, ounces, milliliters are marked on this cup. Very useful for many things from mixed drinks to medicines and other stuff. Plastic is nice but I would wonder how long the graduation markings are going to last if you are going to use it a lot I'd suggest the glass one or plastic that has the information etched into the container material.

I ordered three of these and I love them. They measure my medicine perfectly and would be good for cooking too. They hold up well in the top rack of the dishwasher. I only gave 4 stars though because one of the three came cracked and I had to throw it away.

Using it for my mouth wash as I need to not put too much because of a prescription.PRO- Solid- Transparent that don't scratch- Print still intact after washing it everyday, 2 times a day, for several months.CON- A bit on the expensive sideDespite being on the expensive side the PRO make it worth as it is a item that will stay in inventory for decades to come.

This is a very fine measuring cup. It serves all household needs I'm pretty sure. I needed it when I had to take Benylin for a dry cough. You have to measure it carefully. My hands shook too much to use a tea spoon so this cup measured out just below 10 mL which was (I thought) close to 2 teaspoons. If I took more, it made me a little bit sick.So this cup was a lifesaver.

- Too pricy to ask for- Prints not too readable crisply- Expected it to be glass but that's made of plastic.
