these work as described and do not appear to be a knock off of the original product. the few that I used worked with no issues and is exactly what I needed for my project.

These 817s function flawlessly and at the current list price of under $10, offer excellent project value for 50. The included plastic case comfortably houses all without bending pins when closing.5 stars for project value, would order again.
