Really wanted to love this product, but unfortunately decided to return it a few moments after opening it. The top does not fully close when the string is pulled shut, leaving a sizable opening for chalk to fall out. Also the zippers are somehow so loud jangling against themselves.

I really like the thoughtful design of this bag and look forward to using it outdoors this summer. For climbing it can be hung from its own waist strap fastening it by the squeeze clips. The strap passes through 2 loops on the back, so one can take off the strap and fasten it to your harness with carabiner. Or, if using the bag in a gym for weight training the bag can be placed on the floor. Two top closure loops support this dual use. A large outer pull cord with a big pull tab and squeeze lock will close off the bag for transport, storage, or when the bag is placed on the floor of your gym. When actively climbing, you can open the outer closure loop and use a inner non-lockable pull string to lightly close down the opening. The inner most fabric which will be in contact with you chalk is a fine fleece. The out bag fabric is a tough woven polyester such as can be found backpacks. This bag as long vertical outer pocket in which I can just squeeze in my phone. The horizontal zipper leads to a smaller pocket that can hold car keys and a minimalistic wallet. There is also a small 2 inch elastic loop near the top of the bag The workmanship is very good. There are no exposed seams and all zippers and other hardware is high quality.

My son-in-law likes to take my grandson hiking when we all go camping. And my grandson LOVES to collect rocks from ANYWHERE!!! It's hard to find a decent bag to hold them, and a plastic bag rips as it gets heavy. So I searched and came across this little bucket bag. Yes it came compacted in plastic, but once I opened it up and started investigating, imagine my surprise when I see that the entire inner bag is lined in fleece!! Talk about protecting those little gems now!!!! Obviously you can't jam it with huge items, but for those little finds on our trips, it's sure to be the best protection over any bag. My grandson was thrilled to see I had found something for his "rocks". The strap is also adjustable from adult to child (he's 7), and I told him he can wear it across his chest for more protection. I was greeted with a HUGE "THANKS GRANDMA", and that was worth everything.

Really good quality. As described and works really well. I was surprised to find the inside of the bag is fleece lined but I haven’t had a chalk bag like this before so didn’t really know what to expect. Easy use. Very happy.
