Second time this unit has failed. First time shorted wire to solenoid caused major water leak. Now the wired burnt and welded to post. Can't repair!!No response from supplier!!Finally got a response. They sent out a new generator and parts to fixe the old unit.

I don't know if this is a good product or not, but I was not able to install it because it is not CSA or ULC stamp approved for use in Canada. Our building inspector would not pass it and it would void our insurance policy if something should happen.My request for a refund was also denied, as it was passed the refund window.There should be a warning label that this is not a CSA or ULC approved product.

updated: seller responded and helped identify the issue, sent a new controller to re-install which seems to have solved the issue. service was very nice and followed up as well.original: steam controller on unit malfunctioned after three sessions. unable to find a way to contact vendor. can someone please provide a contact.

Creates a ton of steam - impressed with the amount of steam produced and the price is very reasonable. It violently discharges a significant amount of boiling hot water after the steam session so make sure the discharge tubes are pointed away from where users might be standing - preferably connect them directly to the drain and you should have no scalded users.

It took much longer than expected to have my new steam shower enclosure installed, so I'm just now getting the steam generator installed today. So far, everything is working as advertised. I just finished running it through a 45 minute session and there were no hiccups or issues. It does cycle a little more often than I had expected in order to maintain the pre-selected temperature, but I suppose that's probably normal, depending on how well sealed my shower enclosure is.

We build these steam machines into Airbnb. This product worked for over a year without glitch. I am now installing second one. make sure you waterline goes on a slope down all the way from the steamer onto the exit steam hole.

I contacted Godenwall, no support, I contacted the "manufacturer" who said that they do not support or repair it because I bought it from Amazon, I contacted Amazon who said they would refund, but I have to remove and return. It costs $775 to install legally and properly which does not include the cost of remodeling the shower to accommodate the installation. Absolute cluster!!!Never buy unless you get it from an installer who will stand behind the product and installation.

Update: this company does provide very good customer service. They responded several times to my emails. And provide replacement parts which is essential for commercial services.I originally purchased a residential unit which stopped after a year. Since it is almost 10 times cheaper than the American or European made steam generators, I decided to buy a new one. I bought a commercial model the second time since I use it sometimes daily. The commercial unit seems much better constructed plus it has a better manual, troubleshooting and repair instructions. And the factory in China offers service parts. However, the second unit stopped working after 6 months. A helpful factory technician suggested that I remove the electric heating coil (they call it a pipe? lost in translation). It is surprisingly damaged for only 6 months of use. Then I decided to take out the electric heating coil from the first unit. WOW. It is even worse! One coil totally disintegrated. We have a whole house filter for iron and then we have a water softener. But these coils look much more damaged than any I've removed from electric hot water heaters over the years. Anyway, hopefully a replacement coil doesn't take too long to get here from China.

I have not installed the unit yet but from when I ordered I had a lot of questions, I communicated with Mary and she responded very promptlyI was also concerned that the delivery from China would take forever due to the Corona virus shut down but within 7days from my purchase it arrived all in one piece as I was expecting it to take at least a month or bathroom has not started and that’s why it’s not installed.As soon as it is installed and working I will leave a replyNSW Australia.Its been installed and works a treat, best thing since sliced bread, very happy
