I picked this up to use to sketch out nice circles on projects and it is great for this task.

I Like the product and was hoping to use with my Hypnobirthing clients however, there is a spilt in the wood which I will now need to try and glue back together so that it doesn't pinch anyones skin when holding.

As a midwife I am often teaching clients about staged of labour, this board made it super easy to show cervical progress. Its compact so easy to move around and use in different contexts. For student midwives its also great to practice vaginal exams with or to confirm dilation after an exam. There were a couple of imperfections and obviously the wood is cheaper, but at $20 its great value for price especially compared to similar options on the market.

I thought this item would have it's uses as a larger than normal circle drawing tool for artwork which it does well but unfortunately there has been a mistake with the expected use of bamboo for it's construction where the two layers used (like chopping boards) have been laid down in the same direction as opposed to at an angle resulting in rapid failure of the bonded sections along a join. Easily fixed but an obvious design flaw in such a thin and flexible item such as this. Only buy if you have an appropriate glue for repairs as it seems a likely failure point.

I am not sure how this thing is supposed to be used, but it does advertised "smooth edges" and does not deliver on that promise. Outside is smooth enough, but the inside of all the holes is quite rough.
