I tried this with my 'Air freshener Mix' I prepare in the winter, which consists of a pot with water, lemon and orange slices and some assorted spices. I usually start this on the stove and when it's hot enough, I turn it way down to just simmer. I moved it to this Warmer in a bowl to see how it would hold up, but it could not retain enough heat to keep it going. Also, I like my tea (and coffee) very hot, so just keeping it wam will probably not work for me, but it is sturdy and pretty and I'm sure it will work well for others.

I had a bag of tea lights I have no use for, I love tea and am skeptical of all things so……I got a steamy mug of hot water (177 degrees), sat down and scrolled on social media (typical evening). Fast forward an hour later after taking several drinks and down to less than 1/4 cup, the water temp was 141.1 degrees. Certainly not a true scientific test but good enough for me. Now I need a super cute teapot to sit on it!
