Well, this wasn't quite what I was expecting it to be... I was thinking it would be larger, to act as a furo (portable brazier) for my ceramic kama (kettle) when I perform Chado (tea ceremony). However as a teacup cozy, I guess it'll work fine. I don't usually out of a tea cup, as I usually use Chado (Japanese style) tea bowls or Gongfu tea cups for Chadao (Chinese style)
