possibly ok for hard floors, but really struggles on the carpet even on the highest setting. while vacuuming the vac-unit shuts down constantly I have to shut down the power and then restart it just to keep vacuuming. I wish I returned this vac.

I really like the swivel ability of the power head and also that the air hose can rotate where it attaches to the handle. Both make vacuuming much nicer. Also, I am very tall and my wife is short so the adjustable length handle is very nice. Really seemed like a solid piece of equipment.

I love how I can reach all the way under the queen size bed and all the way under the sofa! Pet hair is no longer a problem, thanks to powerful suction. And with the adjustable height on the power head, I can easily move from carpet to bare floors without switching to the other wand and floor tool. A special shout-out to Clint, who called to make sure he would send the properly-connecting hose to the wall for my central vac system, preventing any need for a return. He demonstrated a genuine concern for the customer! Much appreciated!

Ovwrall great products and service. The hose could be stiffer however to better resist kinks. Would recommend.

We have a houseful - 5 grandkids, 4 teenagers, 3 adults, 2 cats. So we vacuum on a daily basis. We have replaced our central vac hose and powerhead 5 times now in 18 yrs. Most don't last more than a year or two. So I spent a little more this time, hoping for better results. I am for the most part happy with this purchase.Pros: The vacuum powerhead is very powerful and easy to use, works so much better than any other we have used. It has an automatic feature that stops the rotating brush if it senses that something large (like a corner of a rug) sucked into the vaccum. Very high quality. Came with all the tools needed for any floor surface.Cons: The hose is fine for now, it remains to be seen if it lasts; we've only been using it for a month. Most of these type of hoses eventually crack near the handle. The zippered sleeve seemed great at first, but it now keeps unzipping in the middle, requiring us to unzip and rezip to fix it. That's a pain. The floor tools and brush head are fine, though the pole attachment doesn't quite fit the handle, which means it constantly falls apart as you are using it. Another pain.So all in all, I can't give it 5 stars because of these minor issues, but it seems to be a mostly well-made product. I will probably update in a few months if I remember.
