I wish Beam would show an actual picture of the direct connection on the hose and on the receptacle. They reached out by email twice before shipping describing what I would be getting and warning me to stop them if it was wrong. A picture of the connection would have been better than a male/female description. It was right for my needs and a good replacement hose.

So far it is working at it should and I have no complaints. The handle feels more solid that my previous vacuum hose, which fell apart after only 2 years.

I purchased as it was listed to fit our central vacuum. It will cost us to return this item as it does not work with all central vacs...ugh . If this continues, amazon will lose customers.

This hose does not fit a beam, description should be changed. An update my husband jerryrigged so it would work. Also to return it would have cost me. I will never buy from this company again.

Like the feel of the handle, but after using a couple of months, the connection into the wall plugs are not working. Have to jiggle it to get connection. It is not my wall outlets, as other models never gave me this much trouble, and one outlet needs to have the prongs pulled out slightly and down, while another outlet has to be jiggled around until it turns the unit on. Would have expected so much better from Beam, and for the higher price than others I have used. Very sorry I wasted my money on this. I also spent an hour getting sock on hose, they should have done that for the higher price. Do not recommend this to anyone.Update: after just a couple of months, this is not working at all.
