Plastic and has signs of some slight imperfections but if you want something perfect and not plastic this is not the price point. For what i paid this is great- fits well, has a cover, 2 minutes to replace, color options. Shipping was fast too.

I received the black toilet seat as described, and overall, I am quite happy with its appearance. It looks very nice and enhances the look of my bathroom, and it feels surprisingly solid despite being made of plastic. It comes as advertised.However, mine did arrive with a noticeable scratch on the seat itself, which becomes visible when the lid is raised, as well as one on the top of the lid. These imperfections are particularly noticeable against the black finish.Additionally, I've noticed that when I sit on the toilet with the lid down, the seat tends to pop in slightly and then pops out quite strongly when the pressure is released. While it’s not as alarming as it sounds, it can be a bit unnerving if you're not used to it…Despite these quirks, the seat functions well and looks fantastic in my bathroom!

It's nice now I've noticed that when the lid is lifted up it makes a noise. It was easy to install and matches the toilet perfectly not heavy fit perfectly

I really got tired of looking at my dirty white toilet seat that always came unscrewed and had me on a swivel when it got lose. This is THE BEST toilet seat I have ever had. It's easy to put on and even if it does get lose (because I didn't tighten all the way) it's still in place.Easy to clean and doesn't have all those books and cranies and that are hard to clean. It's comfortable to sit on and looks sleek.Good quality and I hope they never stop selling it because I will always buy this should I need another one in the future.

It’s easy to install, fits perfectly on my toilet. The reason I removed 1 star is because I couldn’t use the bolts being provided in the package. The little wing on the bolt prevents its being screwed due to my toilet shape. So I used the bolts from my old toilet seat. Or I guess I can cut the wing, it will work too. Other than that, I really like it.
