Good little fishing poles. My son did have to do some super gluing, parts broke off. Of course, he sat on it, but seemed like it broke a little quickly. He is still able to use it and seems to be enjoying it. For the price, it's not bad.

The rod is very flimsy. Anything caught that weighed over half a pound bent the rod so much that there may as well have been no rod, only the handle. The reel, however, is not bad for the price. It could be used on other rods if needed. I would not recommend this combo.

This is my first ever Amazon review. My wife and I shop Amazon several times per week.I am a Doctor and my wife is a Certified Colon Hydro Therapist. We work a lot... We are"In our heads" a lot... which brings us to the fishing pole. In order to "relax" from our professionalactivities my wife has taken up drawing and coloring and I thought perhaps some light hiking andfishing.... We can hike to some peaceful spot... My wife could sketch.... While I pretend I'm fishing.... Sounds lovely enough but I was not interested in hiking around with a standard length fishing pole. Found this item on Amazon and ordered it. Seemed small enough to fit in a daypack and was reasonablypriced. The item came quickly enough... but was a completely different color.... I've had this happen before... The item's photos and description do not match what you think you are ordering. I am not surewhy Amazon allows this.... I can not understand how "swapping" or "switching" out a purchase is ever ok when you seem to be striving for customer satisfaction.... Why team up with suppliers that are not transparent. In the past, I just put up with it, but decided, no more...return it to Amazon... Until my wife saw it and thought it was cute (and feminine in color) so we kept it. Unfortunately, never got a chance to fish with it. The pole broke an hour later when we went to move it off the kitchen table and turned around to bring it in the other room... it snapped at the base when it bumped the wall.... Turns out, the actual poleis quite thin walled in it's construction. On a lighter note, the "action" on the reel seemed quite acceptable.Summary... Do not expect the color to be properly represented and be prepared to treat it very gingerly inorder to avoid any breakage..... Keep your drag very, very light.... Hope this helps.

Very good fishing pole. Have used it 3 times this year so far. It does have a lot of action, but it is an ultra light rod. I wouldn't recommend going out after large fish with this thing, but is a nice rod for panfish. The reel is adequate. Smooth action. Overall, I would say this is a great deal on a rod & reel combo. Will likely buy more when my other poles need to be replaced.

GREAT PAN FISHING ROD FOR THE PRICE FAST SHIPPING NICE PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY THEY DON'T COME WITH ANY LINE BUT I WOULD RATHER PUT MY OWN LINE ON. WE CAUGHT OVER 2OO PRECH ON SUNDAY. GREAT RODS FOR THAT I LIKE ALL THE ROD GUIDES ON THIS ROD THE REEL IS SMOOTH. I AM PLANNING ON GETTING A COUPLE OF MORE FOR THE THE KIDS.
